The world’s most prestigious design competition iF DESIGN has awarded two innovative ASKO products. The ASKO Elevate™ induction hob with integrated extraction and selected ASKO DW60 dishwasher models were chosen from around 11,000 entries and granted an iF DESIGN AWARD 2022 by a final jury of 75 design experts from 23 nations. The awards were given on the basis of five criteria: Idea, Form, Function, Differentiation and Impact. They are tribute to the ASKO’s human-centric, minimalist approach of designing useful, reliable, long-lasting products.ASKO Elevate™ induction hob with integrated extraction works according to the downdraft principle with a unique tower which brings the extraction surface closer to the pans, resulting in a high extraction performance, which takes away cooking vapor effectively and silently. It also has the iF DESIGN AWARD 2021 winning Celsius°Cooking™ technology with intuitive user interface, pans with temperature sensors, a probe and an app. The components communicate with each other wirelessly, to control temperatures and timings precisely to create dishes that are both tasty and healthy, and a way to exciting new culinary adventures.
By removing the extractor from the wall or ceiling, the kitchen is viewed from a completely new perspective: A blank canvas where anything is possible.

TCL to launch new products
This year, TCL will introduce the P2 Series washing machines ino the UK with steam programs to eliminate most common bacteria and ensure the most hygienic results and protection. The smart auto-dosing system intelligently calculates the precise amount of detergent, softener and water necessary for each cycle. The new collection encompasses the slick fundamentals and industrial aesthetic of the original. The four or five burner kitchen hob is crafted entirely from polished stainless steel and comes coated with a plasma technology to prevent tarnishing, with faithful Italian design details including an absence of welding on the burner pan.

A floorplan by Vaishali Makim, AIA, principal of Makim Architecture of Santa Monica, calls for sweeping, light-filled open spaces, four bedrooms and four bathrooms, separate family, living, entertainment and formal dining rooms, a personal gym and climate-controlled wine and cheese room. Wann started construction in May 2021 on the former site of his family’s vegetable garden and expects move-in by January 2023.
For Wann’s 145-square-foot downstairs chef’s kitchen and 152-square-foot upstairs open-floor-plan family kitchen, Beko is working with designers on its Beko Healthy Kitchen Council to combine appliances, cabinets, surfaces, lighting and interior aesthetics with nutrition, recipe-prep, and earth-friendly elements to create centers of health, wellness and sustainability. Both kitchens will boast an array of the latest Beko kitchen and laundry appliances that were announced at KBIS 2022 including dishwashers equipped with CornerIntense® and IonGuard™, refrigerators with HarvestFresh+™, an industry-largest Beko Double-Wall Oven and range with AirFry, and washing machines outfitted with AquaTech® and RecycledTub® each made from 60 recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles.
