Shortly after presenting its latest innovations at the EspritCuisine trade show , Smeg announces and formalizes a major new partnership in the kitchen world . It is with the culinary journalist Emmanuelle Jary , known in particular for her program “It’s better when it’s good”, that the brand is allied. Through a short format, this program offers videos, filmed with humor, on the best restaurants in France as well as easy-to-make recipes. It is therefore no coincidence that the Italian manufacturer of household appliances has teamed up with this expert in French gastronomy.

Smeg Snoopy mini refrigerator

Two years after the launch of the limited edition FAB10 refrigerator that celebrated the 70th Anniversary of Peanuts, Smeg presents a new mini-refrigerator FAB10 to add to the range of colorful domestic mini-fridges.

Once again, the Peanuts characters are the primary feature of Smeg’s FAB refrigerator: the reference product for this second edition is the FAB10 model, the 1950s style family mini-refrigerator, on which Snoopy, the well-known pet beagle of Charlie Brown, stands out along with his best bird friend, Woodstock.

The white background of the refrigerator is inspired by the white sheet of paper on which Charles Schulz’s drew his comic strip.

Smeg, the instantly recognisable Italian appliances brand, has opened its flagship Singapore showroom at The Heart, Marina One. This marks Smeg’s first Southeast Asia experiential showroom, featuring an extensive collection of large and small appliances.

If you’re new to this Italian brand, it’s not just a brand; it’s an aesthetic, jazzing up kitchens with their retro and colourful appliances such as fridges, kettles, toasters, mixers, ovens and even laundry machines. According to a staff member I spoke to at the showroom, the small appliances are some of the most popular choices, especially when it comes to their official e-stores on Lazada and Shopee.Later this year, Smeg will be debuting its newest range, Galileo, a new generation of combination ovens which are a thermo-fluid dynamic redesign of the heating system with professional algorithms that aim to revolutionise the home cooking experience.

For now, our favourite 11.11 sale is coming right up, and a more cost-effective way to make your kitchen look even nicer is through these small appliances!

Among the novelties on display is the Galileo project, the range of ovens allowing the combination of traditional, steam and microwave cooking functions. Omnichef is the spearhead of the project: three technologies in a single oven, with professional algorithms and special functions to satisfy every need.

Another innovation on display will be the Area induction hob, equipped with a shiny ceramic glass surface in black or silver version with screen printing under the glass and without pre-set cooking areas, to ensure maximum flexibility of use on a surface of 90 cm.

On the fair also the FAB refrigerators with 9 brand new matt colors capture the attention with special finishes and the ever-present sinuous shapes of retro inspiration

SMEG GONE ROYAL

Smeg’s flagship London store is owned by the crown estate, ultimately headed up by the Queen and in honour of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, our store windows have been given a royal makeover featuring a selection of our Union Jack appliances.

The front of the store, in the regent street window, features the star of the show.
Regally sitting upon a luxurious red and gold throne is Smeg’s FAB10 minibar in patriotic iconic union jack design. This cool little appliance is perfect for storing celebratory drinks and snacks for the big day and make a great addition to bedrooms or even man caves!

No royal would be complete without their crown, which sits proudly on its own cushion, whilst the official logo for the Queen’s jubilee and the words ‘Long to reign over us, god save the queen’ complete the display.
