Haier group have received the “Best Supplier Stand” award for stand design and experience at the Euronics UK showcase at the NEC in Birmingham.
With a 100 square-meter booth, we showcased our exciting new products and innovative technologies across Candy, Hoover and Haier appliances. Through product demonstrations and experiences, we were able to attract many visitors and make the stand a success.

Hisense, the consumer technology brand and a major international provider of home appliances, has once again been named to Fortune China’s ESG Influential Listing, for its excellent performance in the fields of technology research and development, manufacturing, and supply chain partnerships.
Balay received the “Most Innovative Company” award in the “Social Innovation and Sustainability” category at the First Conference of the Spanish Innovation Index (IEI), which was held on March 30 at the Carlos III University of Madrid. The awards recognized business innovation in 3 different categories: Business Innovation, Digital Innovation and Social Innovation .
The brand, from the BSH group, was named the most innovative Spanish company in this last category. The award was received by Fernando Alonso, Balay’s Brand Manager, and was presented by José Luis Cortina, president of the consulting firm Neovantas, an official partner in the award ceremony.
The US-based appliances maker, Whirlpool, has been included among the country’s 300 most innovative companies, along with the likes of Microsoft and Apple, firms perhaps more well-known for their ground-breaking tech. The companies on the list were chosen based on three qualifying categories: product innovation, process innovation, and innovation culture.

Among the innovations the firm has introduced in recent years are a washing machine able to filter pet hair; a 2 in 1 washer with a removable agitator; a large dishwasher with three-rack capacity, and the air fry functionality it brought to some of its smart ovens operated via an over-the-air update. Beyond its search for novel products with innovative functionalities, Whirlpool continues to look for innovative solutions to accelerate its environmental, social, and governance agenda. The Bertazzoni Professional Series 90 cm Air-Tec Cooker won the Ideal Home Kitchen Award 2023 in the Genius Kitchen Innovation category. The 90cm freestanding Air-Tec cooker packs three high-performance appliances into one. An efficient integrated extraction system is added to the design and technology of the Professional Series cookers.
The hob is equipped with 4 induction zones controlled through the ergonomic metal knobs. Multi-zone technology allows to combine two zones to create a larger one, suitable for large pots. The oven has 11 functions, from convection, baking and grilling to fast-preheat. Triple-glazed oven doors feature soft motion hinges and anti-slam closing system, and also minimise heat loss.
The integrated 10-speed hood, controlled through the dedicated knob, can be installed in suction or filtering mode. The integrated ventilation system is 100% safe against water spillage. Finally, the Automatic function allows to automatically adjust the suction power of the hood, according to the power of the induction zones in use and the carbon filters can be regenerated in the oven for long-lasting use

The Bertazzoni Professional Series 90 cm Air-Tec Cooker won the distinguished Ideal Home Kitchen Award 2023 in the Genius Kitchen Innovation category, celebrating the very best kitchen manufacturing and design. Innovative engineering has always been core to the Bertazzoni brand, and this award is a testament to more than 140 years dedicated to producing best-in-category products.
Tenth edition for the Green Product Award . In the kitchen category, the award went to the fully integrated Miele model G 7465 SCVi XXL AutoDos. The international jury appreciated “In particular, the transparency of energy and water consumption through the app involves the consumer who seeks greater sustainability and makes him responsible”. This is the new consumption panel in the Miele app, which displays how often a program is used weekly, monthly or annually and how much water and electricity it actually uses. The app also compares the average values of the programs and provides ecological advice.
The awards are organized by the Green Future Club, a network of sustainable innovators and experts with a vision for a near future where all products are sustainable. The club organizes awards, exhibitions and networking events, supports young designers and publishes the annual Green Trend Book with international best practices. Nils Bader , promoter of the award, emphasizes: “ With the awards, we present existing, future and, of course, sustainable alternatives and network the players. With the exhibition and the talks we want to surprise and show what is already possible. In the ECO programme, water consumption is reduced to 8.9 litres. This also means that less energy is required to heat the water, and you benefit from an energy-efficient dishwasher. The water savings are achieved through the intelligent design of the supply system and a new, highly efficient filter system. Additional insulation reduces thermal losses and thus the amount of energy required to heat the water.
