Bertazzoni recently received the 2022 Good Design Award for two of its appliances: 36-inch Induction Built-in Cooktop with Integrated Hood and the new French Door Refrigeration Platform.

Designed with precision touch controls and digital-timed cooking functions, the 36-inch Induction Built-in Cooktop with Integrated Hood allows to efficiently manage the cooking process, and offers a refined style with its integrated down-draft hood-perfect for island applications in particular. Moreover, the induction hob features four speeds for each of its cooking zones, providing instant heating and cooling through the latest induction technology. This cooktop also includes sensors that automatically detect the size of the cookware and adjust the heated area to fit their footprint, allowing for the heating in the induction zone to be the most efficient.

The French Door Refrigeration Platform, instead, offers superior energy efficiency, with 8% less power consumption and EnergyStar ratings, and the XT model features the all-new Quattro Temp Zone – a storage drawer with customizable settings with an LED touch interface to precisely control temperature. The new induction hob with integrated hood P804ICH2M37NT by Bertazzoni received the Archiproducts Design Award 2022. The ADA award aims to reward research and innovation, especially when able to emphasize the emotional and functional power of a project. In particular, the Archiproducts Design Awards reward those products which, by means of new materials, shapes or functions, are able to revolutionize and improve the quality of life today and tomorrow.

«Bertazzoni applied its engineering know-how to develop a new induction technology with integrated ventilation. The result is a new generation of household appliances. The P804ICH2M37NT induction hob with integrated hood combines two appliances in one product. An extraordinary synthesis between cooking and aspiration enclosed in the iconic Bertazzoni design» – the company explained.

The integrated hood, available in suction or filtering mode, is equipped with 10 speed selections and automatic control. The suction system is 100% safe against water leaks. It is possible to regenerate the carbon filters in the oven for long-lasting use. The model is equipped with automatic operation, that allows the hood to automatically adjust the speed according to the power chosen for cooking.

Bertazzoni presented at EuroCucina 2022 its new freestanding cooker with induction hob and integrated hood. This product integrates three appliances in one: the highest performance of the 90 cm freestanding cookers of the Professional Series are enriched by an induction hob with a premium integrated hood. In particular, a dedicated knob makes the control of the hood functional: by setting the hood in the Automatic position, the extraction power will be automatically set according to the number and the power of the induction zones used. The integrated hood is equipped with 9 manual power levels, with the addition of the Boost function. Besides, the integrated hood grid, made in black-painted aluminum, includes the iconic Bertazzoni brass medal for a perfect matching with other brand products. Lightweight and ergonomic, it provides easy access to main filters located just below it: grease filter that can be periodically washed in the dishwasher, long lasting carbon filter effective against odors and smoke, to be restored every 3 months in the oven. The main internal air ducting system is made of metal, to perfectly resist at high temperatures near the oven cavity. While two different air outlet systems are available, to meet every installation need.
