Miele hobs

With TempControl Miele nothing burns on

Gütersloh / Rödinghausen, September 18, 2015No. 129/2015

New induction hobs keep the temperature constant during frying

No burning, no tiresome readjustment and best frying results – the new induction cooktops with the label “TempControl” make the roast much easier and more relaxed. That is always correct temperature sensors ensure the hob. TempControl can be used with any suitable induction pan.

This problem know home cooks and professionals: Conventional Hobs whether with radiant heaters or induction technology, keep the temperature is not constant. So it is getting hotter even with constant power setting on the device in the cookware. Taking no time to heat back, the food easily burn. The situation is different when frying with TempControl: Here, sensors determine the material properties and the temperature of the cookware. The power is then automatically adjusted so that the fried food is exposed to a constant temperature that works regardless of whether the preparation is carried out with or without a lid.

For this, the user only has to select one of three Bratstufen. Bratstufe 1 keeps the temperature at 160 ° C and is suitable for about fried eggs, fish and most frozen foods. Perfect for a steak is level 2 with a temperature of 200 ° C. Even hotter it comes to the wok cooking or when baking pancakes. Here is the recommendation Bratstufe 3 (220 ° C). If the temperature of the respective Bratstufe reached, a beep sounds. So the steak just then coming into the pan when the oil is hot enough. Application examples are listed in the instruction manual or – even more comfortable – about the Miele @ mobile app via smartphone or tablet available.

No special equipment needed

“Roasting is much more relaxed with TempControl because not every little carelessness straight for failure,” explains Gernot Trettenbrein, Head of International at Miele domestic appliances.

And: “With our chosen three temperature levels 160, 200 and 220 degrees, the entire spectrum zuzubereitender food leaves reliable and comfortable cover.” For TempControl Miele no special pans or other accessories need. Because the system adjusts to any cooking containers automatically, so that errors are ruled out when the temperature control. “At this point we have in the development placed great value,” said Trettenbrein. In addition, Miele cooktops are equipped with a simmer level that ensures a constant simmering at low heat (eg sauces preparation). Another feature is the function “Keep warm plus” for gentle heating and keeping food warm.

Exemplary are simply the new induction hobs also to use: After switching on the cooking zone is activated TempControl directly over the selection of the desired Bratstufe, manual power regulation over the number string is not necessary. Miele leads with TempControl hobs a new operating concept under the name Smart Select. The controls light up in yellow, the glass ceramic surface is classic in black. Alternatively, there are two models for flush mounting with white control panel into the program (Smart Select White). In these devices, the glass-ceramic is in a modern graphite black hue.

With roaster zone and Con @ ctivity 2.0

The new TempControl induction cooktops feature a variety of features that have already proven themselves in other Miele hobs. So every model has in addition to the TempControl cooking zone and a PowerFlex cooking area. Here can be two single zones into a large round or square roaster zone interconnect.

All TempControl devices also have the Intelligent Auto function Con @ ctivity 2.0 on board: In combination with a suitable Miele cooker hood, the suction of the hood fits in this system the actual cooking Done at. This ensures a pleasant room climate, and the user can be completely dedicated to the pleasure of cooking without having to worry about the settings of the hood.

The TempControl cooktops come in April 2016 of various sizes and equipment variants on the market. You can choose between 75 and 90 centimeters wide devices, including models for flush mounting in countertops.
