Swiss coffee specialist Jura has launched the A8, a new fully automatic machine that prioritises space-saving design without compromising on performance. Measuring just 19 cm wide, it is the brand’s most compact model to date and a key part of its 2026 range refresh.

Compact Design, Full Jura Performance

Jura has packed its core technology into a smaller footprint. The A8 features the Professional Aroma Grinder 3 for consistent grinding, a standard-size brewing unit that handles 5–16 grams of coffee depending on the drink, and the brand’s 3D brewing technology designed to extract maximum aroma. True to Jura’s preference for freshly ground beans, it also includes a ground-coffee bypass.

The machine offers up to 18 specialities, including espresso, cappuccino, flat white and long coffee. New Light Brew recipes are available alongside a hot-water function for infusions and a milk-frothing system. The milk container cleans itself automatically, controlled from the interface.

Everyday operation is handled via a 2.8-inch colour display framed by four buttons. For more advanced control, the optional Wi-Fi Connect V2 module links the machine to the J.O.E.® app, which includes a Coffee Timer for scheduled brewing.

Aesthetically the A8 keeps things understated. Finished in black, it features a crystal-look bean-hopper lid intended to protect aromas and a dedicated cup platform.

Updates Across the Range

Alongside the A8, Jura has refreshed three existing models:

-E10 (Onyx Grey and Diamond Black) – now offers four preparation styles (Hot Brew, Cold Brew, Light Brew and Sweet Foam) and 36 specialities, plus a Quality Assistant to help maintain consistent coffee quality.
– S10 (Dark Inox and Obsidian Black) – expands to 45 specialities and adds Intense Cold Brew mode. It retains its 4.3-inch touchscreen, customisable user profiles and Coffee Eye function.
– Z10 (third generation, Obsidian Black) – positions itself as the technological flagship with 51 specialities, a new 5-inch touchscreen, P.R.G.2+ grinder, Coffee Timer, caffeine regulator, Milk Assistant, Quality Assistant and a pressure-cast zinc cup rest.

The A8 is aimed at households and compact kitchens that still want full automatic convenience and Jura’s signature coffee quality in a smaller package.
