The launch of “LHOV” will expand the product offer in a sales and distribution network already successful in all European countries, the same network that has determined the success story of the NikolaTesla aspiration hob, which today represents about 12% of the Cooking revenue, with a 40% and 80% increase compared to 2020 and 2019, respectively.

Hoover SDA awarded

Hoover brand has been recognized among the best brands in the SDA category for quality-price ratio, according to the German Institute of Quality and Finance (ITQF).

The ranking was carried out by one of the leading European institutes specialized in quality surveys, which carried out a market research on 685,000 consumer reviews in partnership with La Repubblica – Affari & Finanza.

Dr. Matthias Metz to become new CEO of BSH Hausgerรคte GmbH

Dr. Matthias Metz (51) will take over as CEO of BSH Hausgerรคte GmbH. In this capacity, he will be responsible for the global business of the home appliance manufacturer with more than 62,000 employees and a global production network of 40 factories worldwide. Metz is currently leading the Consumer Markets Segment at ZEISS Group and brings many years of international expertise in branded consumer business to BSH

Matthias Metz, currently a member of the Executive Board of ZEISS Group, will move to Europeโ€™s leading home appliance manufacturer as CEO and Chairman of the Board of Management on October 1, 2022
Metz will take over the CEO role currently held on an interim basis by BSH CFO Dr. Gerhard Dambach

12.65% CAGR forecast for smart kitchen appliance sales

According to a new report by Technavio, the global smart kitchen appliance market size is expected to increase by USD9.4bn (approx. โ‚ฌ8.75bn) between 2020 and 2025, expanding at a CAGR of 12.65%.
The report provides a detailed analysis of the vendor landscape, growth opportunities across business segments, and market growth across regions.

The global smart kitchen appliance market is, says Technavio, quite fragmented. The market is characterised by the presence of several well-established vendors, who are focusing on technology for innovating products to sustain themselves in the competitive market. They are also focusing on building brand and brand equity in the market to differentiate themselves from competing brands.
