Song-dynasty aesthetics meet high-performance cooling as the Chinese brand strengthens its global white-goods push
The 140th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) opened on 15 October, marking the event’s 70th anniversary. Amid a strong turnout of international buyers, Xinfei (Frestech) returned to the showfloor with a clear statement of intent: the new LIBRA BCD-602WGQS7C/W French-door flagship refrigerator.
Song-inspired design that fits modern kitchens worldwide
The LIBRA 602 pairs refined “Song-style” aesthetics with practical global-ready engineering. Its exterior uses a soft jade-rock panel finish that feels understated yet premium. Inside, the design language stays deliberately restrained — clean lines and a quiet oriental elegance rather than ornate decoration.
Key practical features include:
– Patented dual-core rotary hinges
– Bottom-front heat-dissipation system
– 59.4 cm depth that fits standard international 90 cm cabinets for true flush (built-in) installation
The result is a clean, furniture-like integration that works across contemporary kitchen styles. Despite a footprint of just 0.5 m², the refrigerator delivers 602 litres of capacity and a volume utilisation rate of 58 % — roughly 5–10 % more efficient use of space than many comparable models. That combination of compact external dimensions and generous internal volume is particularly relevant for overseas households.
Performance-wise the appliance is equipped with dual refrigeration systems, dual circulation and intelligent dual-inverter technology. It meets China’s new national Grade 1 energy-efficiency standard, offers rapid freezing down to –32 °C, and includes a large colour display plus Wi-Fi connectivity for convenient remote control.
Expanded freezer line-up for home and commercial use
Alongside the flagship fridge, Xinfei showed nine mainstream freezers covering 100–500 litres. The range spans compact models for small apartments through to large-capacity units suited to shops and bulk storage.
A notable debut was the BC/BD-286WKEA/J frost-free freezer. It features a variable-speed compressor for faster cooling, lower energy use and quieter operation. The unit can reach –40 °C for long-term preservation of seafood and meat, and incorporates a “four-wide” design philosophy (wide climate range, wide voltage tolerance, wide temperature and humidity adaptability). Compared with traditional static freezers it eliminates manual defrosting, maintains more even temperatures and reduces odour transfer.
Colourful steel-door panel refrigerators rounded out the display, giving buyers options that match different regional kitchen aesthetics.
Steady expansion of Xinfei’s global footprint
Xinfei’s products are already sold in more than 80 countries and regions across Europe, the Americas, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Africa. The company attributes its consistent order wins at successive Canton Fairs to reliable quality, green manufacturing credentials and technologies tailored to overseas requirements.
At this year’s show the LIBRA series drew particular interest from international buyers thanks to its combination of flush-fit design, energy efficiency and whole-cavity preservation performance.
Looking ahead
Xinfei’s management reiterated the brand’s long-term commitment to the Canton Fair as a platform for connecting with global markets. The company plans to continue investing in higher-end, more energy-efficient products that meet the specific needs of different regions, supporting the broader push of Chinese white-goods brands into international markets.
