Electrolux has ranked top of the Sustainable Brand Index™ for the Home Appliances & Consumer Electronics industry in Sweden.

The Sustainable Brand Index™ is Europe’s largest brand study on sustainability, with more than 23,000 Swedish consumers being surveyed for this year’s ranking.

Sustainable Brand Index™ is Europe’s largest brand study on sustainability. The study measures the perception of stakeholders on a brand’s sustainability across industries and countries. With the help of more than 60 000 consumers across 8 countries, the study measures and analyses over 1 400 brands across 34 industries on sustainability.

Miele takes 75.1% stake in premium gas grill specialist Otto Wilde Grillers GmbH. The startup from Düsseldorf is one of the promising suppliers of innovative high-end grills and accessories. Their G32 Grill, for example, can be conveniently paired with your smartphone which allows you to adjust temperature or group the burners for the perfect steak while you are comfortably relaxing on the terrace. Thus, Miele enters the growing future market of outdoor cooking.

Eva is one of the most innovative hoods created by the Italian company Baraldi. It is a hanging model, characterized by a refined modern design with a conical shape. 

Available in stainless steel, white or in the new and surprising oriental gold color that gives prestige to the most important kitchens. Equipped with a latest generation engine of 800 m3 / h and high power LEDs, it is controlled by a remote control. Filtration takes place through carbon filters or with the hi-filter which can be washed and regenerated for a total duration of up to 3 years.

Sincold acquired by Italian oven manufacturer

Tecnoeka , a leading company in the production of professional convection ovens, present in more than 100 countries in the world and for over 40 years in the professional kitchen equipment market, has recently completed the acquisition of ATOSrl, the company that owns the SINCOLD brand , from over twenty years recognized as a symbol of quality in the production of blast chillers and refrigeration equipment. The new corporate structure has been operational since March 2021 . In this way the two realities will be able, despite their autonomy, to combine distribution activities both in the world of professional cooking and in the refrigeration market where jointly they will be able to express a strong synergy in the sign of Made in Italy.

A first important initiative was the creation of the new “SINofCOLD” brand, with a view to full continuity of activities from a technological and production point of view. 

Conair Corporation To Be Acquired By American Securities

Conair Corporation, a global leader in premium kitchen electric appliances, non-electric kitchenware, personal care, grooming, health and beauty products, and American Securities LLC, a leading U.S. private equity firm, announced today that Conair has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by affiliates of American Securities.  Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.  Certain members of the Rizzuto family will retain a minority ownership in Conair.

Based in Stamford, CT, Conair’s iconic brands include Cuisinart®, Conair®, Babyliss®, Scunci® and Waring®.  Founded in 1959 by Leandro Rizzuto, the Company started as a small hair appliance company.  Today, Conair sells its products in more than 120 countries across six continents.

Fagor becomes a partner of the Atletico Madrid women’s football team.

Fagor domestic appliances  has signed a sponsorship agreement with Atlético de Madrid and its women’s team. The pioneer brand in Spain with more than 65 years of experience, thus becomes the new club sponsor for this season and the next three.

The presentation ceremony for this new commercial agreement took place at the Wanda Alcalá de Henares Sports Center. At the event were present, Lola Romero, director of the Feminine, the players Deyna and Ludmila, and Vicente Sánchez, general director of Fagor Electrical Appliance.

Lola Romero welcomed her new partners: “For our club, the union of this new sponsor with our first team represents the best synergy that can be found with an innovative brand such as Fagor.”
