Small appliances: the Avantspace line is here

After more than 75 years of history, Tognana further expands its offer, proposing its first collection of small household appliances .

The products are part of the Avantspace line , launched in February 2022 and recognizable by the compact and elegant design of the pot battery .

The Avantspace collection of small appliances currently consists of four references: hand blender, electric hand mixer, chopper and vacuum sealer .

What unites the products, in addition to the minimal design, is the power supply mode : they are in fact wireless and rechargeable with a universal USB-C cable . This allows the user greater freedom and mobility in the kitchen: Avantspace small appliances can be used on any worktop, even away from power outlets.

Each recharge lasts about a month with daily use of the product and the battery level is always visible, thanks to the small LED display on the product.

Groupe SEB sales decreased in the first nine months 2022

Group SEB reported its financial results for the first nine months of the year, during which sales reached 5,560 million euro, recording a fall of 0.2% (-4.3% like-for-like). «After a year in 2021 that brought our performance to record levels driven by the consumption of Small Domestic Equipment during the Covid pandemic, the Group is holding up well over the first 9 months of 2022 in an unfavorable inflationary environment» – commented Stanislas de Gramont, chief executive officer of Groupe SEB.

«Our professional activities – the CEO added – continue to grow by double digits in most geographies. Our sales are progressing in China where Supor has consolidated its leadership positions in its main categories. However, our Consumer business was penalized in France and Germany by specific issues to these two markets, as well as by the effects of the war in Ukraine. This leads us to revise downwards our sales and margin guidance for 2022 whilst intensifying the cost reduction program implemented in the third quarter

Philips Domestic Appliances are partnering up with EcoMatcher and Fostering Education & Environment for Development, Inc. (FEED) to celebrate the launch of the Eco Conscious Edition breakfast set in Australia and South Korea.

For every kettle, toaster and coffee maker from the collection sold in Korea and Australia, a tree is being planted in the Sierra Madre mountain range in the Philippines.

The Eco Conscious Edition breakfast set is developed with bio-based plastics made from used cooking oil and plant oil waste and fits perfectly with our ambition to do business responsibly and with sustainability in mind. With every purchase, consumers in South Korea and Australia can name their own tree, see where it was planted, track its carbon sequestration, and listen to the sounds of the tree’s location on the EcoMatcher app.
