The sleek stick vacuum cleaner delivers a powerful, hygienic cleaning experience with its All-in-One Clean Station™ and up to 210W suction power
Samsung Electronics today announced the launch of the Bespoke Jet™, a cordless vacuum cleaner with an All-in-One Clean Station™ that delivers hygienic cleaning with a 99.999 percent Multi-Layered Filtration System.1 In addition to its All-in-One Clean Station™, a dock that charges your vacuum cleaner and automatically empties the dustbin, the Bespoke Jet™ is lighter and is equipped with a more enhanced Digital Inverter Motor than its predecessor2 for even more powerful cleaning. Packed with innovations, the Bespoke Jet™ also earned recognition as an Honoree at the CES Innovation Awards 2021.
“Cleanliness is now top of mind for consumers across the world, so we wanted to create a product that delivers more convenient and powerful features to keep users’ homes tidy to the end of cleaning,” said Hyesoon Yang, Executive Vice President and Head of Customer Experience of the Digital Appliances Business at Samsung Electronics. “The Samsung Bespoke Jet™ not only delivers the power and performance needed to keep your floors clean, its beautiful design can also fit seamlessly into any room in your home.”
Hygienic Cleaning PerformanceThe Bespoke Jet™ features the All-in-One Clean Station™, which keeps a user’s space hygienic while cleaning. When docked, the All-in-One Clean Station™ is able to empty its dustbin automatically without any fine dust particles escaping3 thanks to Samsung’s unique Air Pulse technology. It also automatically charges the Bespoke Jet™ vacuum cleaner at the same time.
A 99.999 percent4 Multi-Layered Filtration System makes sure that only clean air is released from the Bespoke Jet™ during cleaning. As air is sucked in, the main cyclone separates large dust particles, which are then picked up in a metal mesh grille filter. A micro filter then catches fine dust particles, and finally, a fine dust filter traps micro dust5 that can easily escape. All the parts and filters are washable, so they can be kept hygienically clean
Whether it is being used on hard floors or carpets, the Bespoke Jet™ provides maximum suction to get the job done efficiently. The on-board Samsung Digital Inverter Motor is 47 percent lighter than the Jet90’s motor6 and generates up to 210W7 of suction power.
With its Jet Cyclone, you can enjoy cleaner air and powerful suction. Featuring a high-efficiency, multi-cyclone structure, the Jet Cyclone creates an optimal air path to reduce air resistance and minimize the loss of suction to hygienically trap fine dust particles sucked into the vacuum cleaner.
The handheld body of the Bespoke Jet™ weighs just 1.44kg, light enough to maneuver and clean the entire house, so you can easily clean the surfaces of chairs and sofas, on top of cabinets and tables, the length of window blinds, the underside of appliances and even up the stairs.
Cleaning Made Convenient
The Bespoke Jet™ features a convenient LCD Digital Display with support for 28 languages.8 This display gives you all the information you need at a glance including your suction level settings and remaining battery time. It also provides information about any problems, such as clogging,
objects stuck in the brush, or missing filters, and provides a guide to help you fix the problem.
The Bespoke Jet™ also has a large capacity battery, despite its high specification features. It can run for up to an hour9 and even when that time’s up, you can easily swap in a spare battery10 to extend
to extend your cleaning time by up to two hours. Samsung’s unique technology also ensures that it retains 70 percent of its original performance throughout up to 500 cycles.11
To help you clean even hard floors easily, the Bespoke Jet™ also comes with an upgraded Spray Spinning Sweeper. Featuring dual spinning wet pads that rotate for up to 100 minutes,12 it delivers stable, effective cleaning for hard floors. The upgraded Spray Spinning Sweeper also features an easy-to-maintain 150ml water tank, so you can manually spray more water for a more convenient experience.
The arrival of the Bespoke Jet™ takes home appliances into the modern era. Embracing the philosophy of the Samsung Bespoke brand, the sleek and stylish Bespoke Jet™ is designed to blend into any home. Available in three stylish colors — Midnight Blue, Misty White and Woody
Green — the Bespoke Jet™ allows users to place the vacuum cleaner in living areas without disrupting the overall interior design.
The Bespoke Jet™ will be available starting January 2022 in Southeast Asia, Europe, and March in the U.S.

LG Electronics (LG) is about to make life in the kitchen easier than ever with the introduction of its latest cooking appliances, LG InstaView® Double Oven Range and Over-the-Range Microwave Oven. Featuring the company’s core cooking technologies, these premium appliances are the first to offer seamless integration with the new LG ThinQ™ Recipe service.1 Double Oven Range features LG InstaView technology that lets users see inside an appliance by simply knocking twice on the glass, illuminating the interior without having to open the door and letting hot air escape. A complete cooking solution for today’s homes, both products are made their debut at CES 2022 next week.
The new oven range leverages LG’s ProBake® Convection technology for quick and thorough cooking without preheating to deliver delicious, evenly-cooked meals every time. With its precise temperature and airflow control, ProBake provides shorter cooking times and is also the key ingredient in the oven’s Air Fry and Air Sous Vide modes. Air Fry allows cooks to create delectable, crispy fried treats using far less oil than deep frying while Air Sous Vide ensures tender, juicy dishes that will keep diners wanting more. And delicious doesn’t mean having to wait longer, thanks to LG’s UltraHeat™ Power Burner technology. The other half of the exceptional kitchen duo, LG Over-the-Range Microwave Oven, employs proprietary Steam Cook technology to prepare foods that are juicier, healthier and tastier. The Slide-out ExtendaVent™ in this premium microwave is effective in reducing the presence of smoke and lingering odors in the kitchen. And with its EasyClean interior, the oven is a breeze to keep clean thanks to the advanced coating that prevents food and grease from sticking and allows easy cleanup with only a damp cloth.2 LG’s minimalist design language is perfectly exemplified in the stainless steel and tempered glass of LG WideView™ Window.
New for 2022, LG ThinQ Recipe service delivers a more complete and convenient user experience by making all smart kitchen services and content from LG and its partners available in one place. Accessed via the ThinQ app, LG ThinQ Recipe offers a seamless journey that allows anyone to search, plan, purchase and cook, following hundreds of easy-to-follow recipes including mouth-watering options from talented creators and LG Originals Series, the latter prepared by LG’s own chefs showcasing how to best use features of LG cooking appliances. Powered by SideChef, ThinQ Recipe also offers over 10,000 one-click shoppable recipes for the ultimate home cooking experiences, turning a single recipe or a weekly meal plan into a grocery shopping orderable directly from the app via Walmart or Amazon Fresh.3
In partnership with Boston-based AI start-up Foodspace Technology, ThinQ Recipe also integrates LG’s time-saving Scan to Cook feature, for scan-and-send cooking directions for select frozen meals.
Proactive Customer Care, LG’s AI customer service solution, can be accessed from the intuitive ThinQ app as well. Using artificial intelligence and deep learning technology to analyze product performance data, Proactive Customer Care can send users helpful alerts and maintenance tips to keep their LG ovens running optimally year after year.4
During Register My Appliance Week (from Jan 17 to 21) manufacturers, fire services and safety campaigners will be urging the public to register their many treasured appliances that, unlike our cars, are still off the radar if a free safety repair is ever needed.
A striking AMDEA pop-art campaign will highlight a serious message as householders are asked if their appliance manufacturer would know which machines they have in their homes if a fault comes to light with their model. The answer is ‘no’ for some 100 million appliances, according to recent research. But this could all be remedied by people taking a few minutes to register their much-loved appliances.
While the recent increase in online purchasing (reportedly soaring as high as 70%) and the advent of smart appliances will all help to improve traceability, according to government estimates we are now running more than 212 million essential appliances to cook, wash clothes and dishes, clean floors and store our food.
Yet official research also found that 49% of us have never registered a product, potentially leaving some 100 million large and mid-sized older machines untraceable. But registration can be done easily – even in these circumstances – because the process can be completed at registermyappliance.org.uk without a receipt or knowing exactly when the appliance was first bought.
A recent AMDEA survey of appliance users nationwide, in both rental and owned properties, revealed that the vast majority (83%) of respondents did not know or did not think they could register an older appliance that they had not purchased themselves.
The predominant reasons for not believing this possible were not knowing the dates of purchase (59%) or not having the receipts (48%) – neither of which applies to registration as a safety precaution.
Electricals retailer Currys has edged down its full year profit guidance after what it called a “challenging” technology market at Christmas with uneven customer demand and supply disruption.
The group, which trades from more than 800 stores in seven countries and online, said it expected to deliver a full-year 2021-22 adjusted pretax profit of around £155 million, versus last month’s guidance of about £160 million and £156 million made in 2020-21.
Currys said like-for-like revenue fell 5% in the 10 weeks to Jan. 8 year-on-year, but was up 4% against the same period in 2019-20, before the pandemic impacted trading.
Taurus launches a new application, the Taurus Connect APP, which allows you to control all the brand’s heating devices, purifiers and robot vacuum cleaners. In a single APP the user will be able to know the status of his appliance, as well as the temperature, humidity or air quality of his home or a specific room, thanks to the sensors of the appliance that will be connected to the application.
With this free APP, Taurus allows the interaction and control of the appliance through the smartphone or other mobile devices. In this way, the user can program its operation and control it at all times, something extremely useful in heating appliances, for example, to heat the house just before arriving or, to program a vacuum cleaner to find the house clean.
Taurus’ commitment to connected electrical appliances will continue to grow and the family of heaters, purifiers and robot vacuum cleaners will be joined by other electrical appliances in order to improve the user experience, optimize the consumption of each appliance and save energy.

Samsung has announced that its 2022 sustainability initiatives will include packaging a wider range of home appliances with its eco-packaging corrugated cardboard boxes, which can be upcycled into small furniture, and the incorporation of recycled materials into its interior packaging.According to Samsung’s 2021 Sustainably Report, its eco-packaging solutions include packaging for a range of TV products, such as The Serif and The Sero, which can be upcycled. For example, the corrugated carboard boxes can be made into items such as pet products and small furniture, with QR codes and a dot pattern matrix printed on the boxes to allow consumers to check the instructions for upcycling.Daehee Yoon, one of the designers of the eco-packaging range, explains: “One out of every five dots is larger than the others, and the number of dots serves as the unit of measurement.“This makes building your own upcycled furniture easy and accessible, and additionally makes the furniture look good once it’s built.”Sungdo Son, another member of the design team, adds: “The QR codes enable you to access building manuals swiftly without the need to install an app.“The electronic format also makes it easier to add and modify plans.”According to Jonathan Whang, also involved in designing the eco-packaging: “The level of building expertise required and the time it takes to build each respective piece of furniture are noted in the manuals so that consumers can make informed choices about what to make with their packaging“After the eco-packaging was distributed, it was interesting to see how much the final products varied in terms of shape and appearance, despite the fact that they were built using the same sets of plans.”Samsung is planning to expand its use to eco-packaging to encompass a larger line-up of products, including home appliances like vacuum cleaners, microwave ovens, and air purifiers. The expanded range will further enable consumers to repurpose or upcycle packaging, aligning with existing products. The expanded line of eco-packaging has been available in South Korea since last year, with a global rollout expected in 2022.
