ILVE’s 60cm Milano Multifunction Pizza oven features ILVE’s traditional ‘Milano’ styling with embellished handles and control knobs with a TFT touch control display. The 645SNZT4 works as a standard oven whilst mimicking a real pizza stove, meaning you can cook an authentic and delicious pizza is just over 2 minutes. But how?

 

Preheat the oven by switching on the pizza setting. Simply prepare your pizza base and add your favourite toppings. When the oven reaches a soaring height of 400 C, pop your pizza in. You could be sitting down with your favourite pizza in as little as two and a half minutes! The perfect oven for hosting a family pizza night.

 

The oven has an abundance of additional features. With TFT, you can easily programme the oven’s additional 14 functions, set the timer and switch on the child lock. Setting the temperature of the oven is effortless due to ILVE’s precision temperature control.

 

The oven has 37 litres of cooking space, with an internal light to illuminate the inside of the oven. The oven doors are soft-closing, full glass and quadruple-glazed.

The 645SNZT4 isn’t just for the perfect pizza. Provided with the oven is an electronic cooking probe, meaning you can cook your meat at the perfect temperature too! With ILVE’s new wet/dry setting you can reduce the amount of moisture within the oven by releasing water through the steam vent.

V-ZUG new production site for premium built-in cooling appliances.

“Switzerland definitely has a future as a production location,” says Andreas Albrecht when talking about our new cooling production plant in Sulgen, Switzerland.
With its new site in Sulgen, V-ZUG Kühltechnik AG is displaying its conscious choice of Switzerland as a manufacturing location and its continued commitment to Swiss-made quality.
The company was also keen to keep the qualified team, so drew a radius around the existing location of Arbon to ensure that they didn’t have too far to travel.

Operations are set to begin in Sulgen in 2022.

Miele’s new built-in refrigerators ensure longer-lasting freshness with active humidification

Miele has released a new collection of K7000 coolers that match the brand’s latest built-in cookware. The company also prides itself on having spare parts available for at least 15 years, five years longer than new repair laws require. Miele improves the freshness of food thanks to precise temperatures and minimal temperature fluctuations. This product has DuplexCool – separate circuits for the refrigerator and freezer, which allows users to more accurately control the temperature. Another is DynaCool, where a fan inside the refrigerator circulates air to prevent hot spots and maintains a constant and constant temperature throughout the entire compartment. Third, the temperature accuracy. The thermostat is a precision device that maintains the temperature of the refrigerator regardless of external conditions. This ensures that hot days and cold nights don’t change. The new Miele series also has an additional freshness protection system.

To combat this, we need a more conscious approach to how we handle food – and an ultra-effective freshness system in our fridges. Thanks to its PerfectFresh Active technology, Miele’s new Generation K 7000 refrigeration appliances are heralding a future with superior food storage conditions. Not only that, but the appliances are also setting new standards in user convenience and lighting.

Fruit and vegetables need moisture in order to stay fresh and crisp. At temperatures between 0 and 3 Â°C, Miele’s proven PerfectFresh Pro system ensures food stays fresh for up to five times longer than it would in a conventional vegetable compartment. The natural moisture of the food is kept in the closed compartment. PerfectFresh Active, on the other hand, provides long-lasting freshness in a visible way by spraying a fine mist onto the contents of the crisper drawer, preserving the quality of the food and its vitamins. Moisture is therefore supplied extra – for even more freshness. The mist is sprayed from the water container above directly into the drawer every 90 minutes and every time the door is opened. Compact and easy to clean, the water container has a capacity of just 120 ml to hold the small amount of water required for this. The low temperatures keep any nasty contamination at bay, meaning that the container only has to be refilled every two to three months.

Generation K 7000 appliances are also taking user convenience to the next level. Among the real highlights of these new built-in appliances is FlexiTray – a glass shelf that is full-sized but can also be pivoted 180 degrees, so users can say goodbye to rummaging around for storage boxes, jars and small food containers. The upper door shelves can also be adjusted to the perfect height without the need to remove them, which means that even extra-large bottles of juice will fit easily in the bottle holder. The touch displays are intuitive to use and their colour and design are perfectly matched to Generation 7000 built-in appliances.

Yet another standout feature of Miele’s new refrigeration appliances is their effective, atmospheric lighting. The current appliances already have LEDs integrated into their glass shelves to create bright, glare-free lighting throughout the interior – and the lighting even adjusts itself if a shelf is moved. In the future, the FlexiLight 2.0 concept will use “Ambilight” technology to bathe the interior in light that is bright, pleasant and more even. To achieve this, the LED light strips will cover the entire width of the glass shelves. The lighting will also be applied to the IceMaker if one is present, elegantly illuminating it and the many large ice cubes it is able to hold. Some appliance models will also include dedicated LED lighting for the DynaCool dynamic cooling system, which establishes consistent cooling conditions throughout the interior. Additionally, the interior rear wall of some models will feature an elegant, sturdy CleanSteel finish to help ensure that cooling is distributed evenly within the appliance.

With the exception of the entry-level models, WiFi networking (WiFiConn@ct) will be available for all the appliances. This will include the option of sending service notifications to the user’s smartphone or tablet if, for example, the appliance door has been left open inadvertently.

New Bosch Built in ovens

The new Bosch Series 6 ovens presents the Hotair 3D technology, which activates both the fan and the circular electric heating element located on the rear wall of the oven. Working in synergy, the fan quickly and evenly distributes the heat produced by the heating element which, expanding throughout the oven cavity, heats the cavity at 360° with a three-dimensional effect. “In this way – the company says – it is possible to cook different dishes on different levels, without any mixing of flavours and aromas, achieving perfect cooking results every time: whether it is a question of cooking a dish from the beginning, or regenerating, using the special function, dishes that have already been prepared or prepared the day before”. The new Bosch 6 Series ovens with steam pulses have a 220 ml removable water tank that can be easily refilled. The intensity of the steam pulses can be set manually, as required, or automatically. “Those who are new to the kitchen or want to simplify their daily cooking routine can let themselves be guided by the AutoPilot function – the company adds -. Beko new eco appliances

Beko unveiled seven sustainable products including a washing machine/washer dryer, oven, tumble dryer, refrigerator, espresso coffee maker and dishwasher to help consumers reduce their impact on the environment. The innovative products use recycled materials such as such as PET bottles, fishing nets; bio-composites such as coffee residue and eggshells; as well as detergent saving technologies for sustainable living.

At the event, Beko shared a Europe-wide survey on people’s attitudes and concerns about sustainability. Its results show that the vast majority of Europeans (UK 88%, IT 88%, ES 87%, DE 84%, FR 78%, PL 74%) of the six countries asked said they feel it is their personal responsibility to make a difference by minimizing waste, water and energy use in their daily lives. The number of people thinking it is down to others, such as the government or business, or who think that they cannot make a difference, is negligible.

Recycling is found to be the most popular activity linked to sustainability that people practice at home. Interestingly, this activity scores significantly higher in the UK market at 84% compared to all others, with Italy coming closest at 78% and Germany last at 66%.

When asked what else they could do to protect the planet, respondents list in order of effectiveness, buying sustainable products, fighting food waste, reducing air travel and eating less meat. The main obstacle to living more sustainably at home is found to be the perception of high prices of sustainable products in all countries.

Price is the most important decider when buying a home appliance, with longevity and environmental friendliness coming in after, despite most of the respondents (IT 88%, ES 86%, FR 85%, PL 84%, UK 77%, DE 75%) agreeing on the importance of purchasing sustainable home appliances that have a meaningful positive impact on our planet.
