Paolo Gatti new CFO of the Polti Group

Paolo Gatti , 47, has been appointed as  the new CFO of the Polti Group. After many years of experience as an auditor at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Paolo Gatti worked for years at the Calvi Group, which mainly operates in the production of special steel profiles. Initially responsible for management control in the subholding Eureka Spa, where he also served as a board member in some of the controlled companies, Gatti then moved to the main holding, where he took on the role of head of finance, control and special projects, as well as being the Group’s ESG manager.

Middleby Residential UK

Middleby Residential has announced the appointment of Dominic Worsley, former managing director of CDA, as the new UK group managing director. In this role, Worsley will oversee a diverse range of brands, including Aga, Rangemaster, Rayburn, La Cornue, Novy, and Josper.

Worsley brings a wealth of experience to the position, having spent the past two years leading CDA. His career also spans various roles beyond the kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom (KBB) sector, showcasing his versatile expertise.

Haier announces new MD for Europe

Haier Europe announce the appointment of Diego Perrone as the new Managing Director for UK & Ireland.

In his new role, Perrone will be responsible for expanding Haier Europe’s leadership in the UK and Irish markets and driving profitability and business growth. He joined Haier Europe in 2022 as Head of Cooling with accountability for product leadership and the company’s business in the refrigeration segment.

Yannick Fierling appointed as new President and CEO of Electrolux Group

Electrolux has appointed Yannick Fierling as new President and CEO of Electrolux Group effective January 1, 2025. Yannick Fierling succeeds Jonas Samuelson, who earlier this year informed the Board that he will leave his position by the end of the year.

Yannick Fierling has more than 20 years’ experience from the household appliances industry, most recently as CEO Europe for Haier Corporation during the years 2015 to 2024. Between 2000 and 2015, he held several senior positions within Whirlpool Corporation in Europe and globally.

Yannick Fierling starts at Electrolux Group on October 1 and will take on the formal role as President and CEO on January 1, 2025 after a three-month handover period.Yannick Fierling is 53 years old and a French citizen. He will be based in Stockholm. He holds two Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from France and the United States.

New appointments at BSH

From 1 September 2024 Enrico Hoffmann will be Head of Sales & Marketing Central Europe of BSH, while Christof Jaeger will become the new CEO of BSH Italy After three years, Enrico Hoffmann concludes his mandate at BSH Italy, during which he has successfully strengthened the subsidiary’s business, focusing on sustainable development for the company and for its people, making his skills and his strong focus on the Customer and the end Consumer available. From September 1, 2024, Hoffmann will take up the role of Head of Sales&Marketing Central Europe with responsibility for the countries Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Hungary.
