BSH Home Appliances Group, the company behind Bosch and Siemens appliances, has reported 7% growth in India for FY25, even as its global revenue dipped by around 1.6% year‑on‑year. Haier India has invested Rs 400 crore for the expansion of its Greater Noida plant.
The phase II expansion of the plant is scheduled to begin this month and will be completed by November 2024. The company will add 44,890 sq m to the 3,05,726 sq m plant.
Haier India can currently produce one million air-conditioners, 1.5 million washing machines, and 3 million refrigerators annually at its plants in Greater Noida and Pune.

Haier India also targets Rs 10,000 crore turnover by the end of 2024. BusinessLine had earlier reported that the targeted turnover is in line with the expected revenue growth of 40 per cent and 30 per cent in 2023 and 2024, respectively.

Electrolux re-enters Indian market after four years
Swedish home appliance manufacturer Electrolux has re-entered the Indian market almost after four years and launched its “first experience centre” in New Delhi.
It will introduce a complete range of solutions for refrigeration, fabric care (washers and dryers), air purification and conditioning, dishwashing, cooking, and vacuum cleaner in a phased manner from July through October 2022, company said in a statement
Samsung Commitment to India with Investment to Set Up New Compressor Plant
The new facility in Sriperumbudur, near Chennai., spread over 22 acres, will have a capacity to produce 8 million compressor units a year, which will be expanded in the future. Compressors produced at the plant will be used in refrigerators that Samsung manufactures in India and also be exported.
