Blueair and Lanaco Pioneer First Electrostatic Wool Filter in Air Purifiers

Blueair takes another step forward in its mission of clean air for the next generation by announcing a groundbreaking partnership with Lanaco, a New Zealand-based wool filter company. Together, they have embarked on the industry’s first initiative to develop a range of high-performance electrostatic wool and plant fiber-based filters.

initiative focused on air wellness —a crucial issue as indoor air can be up to 5X more polluted than outdoor air—aligns with Blueair’s history of innovation, and vision of bringing the purity of the pristine Swedish archipelago air into homes.

“Partnering with Lanaco to produce the industry’s first natural wool and plant-based fiber filter, derived from nature, is not just a milestone for Blueair, but a transformative moment for the air purifier industry,” said Andy Lu, CEO of Blueair. ” With Lanaco’s innovative New Zealand wool filter technology we’re ushering in a new direction of performance. Lanaco’s filter has been ten years in the making, starting with a bespoke wool breeding program Astino® through to today’s sophisticated result, which has been refined and tested in challenging environments including space exploration.”

Blueair has led the industry with product innovations, technology and using materials that are made to last. The company is known for its proprietary HEPASilent dual filtration technology which captures 99.97% of particles as small as 0.1 microns1 in size and delivers more clean air faster2, while using less noise3 than HEPA filtration alone all while using lower energy4. And just last month, the company launched its Classic Pro unit, made with durable steel and HINS PureTM lighting technology that neutralizes germs via a violet light inside the unit.

Dreame Technology debuts at IFA 2024

Dreame Technology, a leading brand in the smart cleaning industry, appeared at the 2024 IFA exhibition. At this exhibition, Dreame Technology released two flagship new products and four industry-first technologies, painting a vision of the future smart home for users.
As a global technology company, Dreame Technology has always actively listened to consumers, met user needs, created value for users’ lives, and launched industry-leading products. In the process of achieving this goal, Dreame Technology is committed to continuously promoting the development of the smart cleaning appliance industry and bringing a worry-free and convenient cleaning experience to users around the world.released new products: the Dreame sweeping robot L40 Ultra and the Dreame smart floor scrubber H14 Pro, and released four industry-first technologies: bionic dual mechanical feet high obstacle crossing technology, self-lifting panoramic lidar technology, hybrid full-scene zero-entanglement dual roller brush technology, and all-round ultra-thin water drainage space station technology. The obstacle height that traditional sweeping robots can overcome is usually around 2cm, which results in a reduction in the cleaning area due to the inability to climb over obstacles, or the body is stuck on the threshold and hangs in the air. The bionic dual mechanical foot high obstacle crossing technology developed by Dreame doubles the radius of the wheel through the hub motor system and the double-section swing arm system to support the machine, greatly improving the obstacle crossing performance. It can easily cross the steps, thresholds and obstacles at home, cope with complex terrain and scenes, and effectively solve the user cleaning pain points in segmented scenesThe self-elevating panoramic laser radar can automatically identify low spaces and actively lower the laser radar to lower the height of the fuselage, so that it can easily enter the bottom of the furniture for cleaning, solving the problem of cleaning dead corners. After cleaning the low space, it identifies the open area and the laser radar automatically rises. In addition, Dreame’s first hybrid double roller brush system with rubber brush + rubber bristle combines the advantages of both, covering carpets, floor gaps, and tiles. It is excellent in carpet cleaning, floor dust, and floor gap cleaning.Dreame Technology also demonstrated the industry’s cutting-edge floor scrubber technology, launched an all-purpose ultra-thin water supply and drainage space station, subverted the maintenance-free cleaning form, realized automatic water addition + high-pressure sewage discharge, and pioneered surge wall scraping to scrape off stubborn stains at corners and thoroughly clean the sewage tank. The maintenance-free experience of the floor scrubber has been upgraded to the 2.0 era, which saves space, has zero blockage, and is truly maintenance-free, providing a worry-free experience of “pick it up and use it, put it down and don’t worry about it”.
