New collection of compact kitchen appliances that will save counter space and keep the kitchen counter free of cables The series consists of three products; the kitchen machine Go, electric whisk Quickmix Go and the food processor MultiPro Go. All three should take up minimal space and have a stylish design in the color shower storm blue with clean lines. The devices are light with an ergonomic handle and a separate handling system, EasyStore, for cables. The Go kitchen machine has a height of 30 cm and can be placed in a cupboard or drawer. It has a motor power of 800 watts so that it can handle everything from crispy breadsticks, buttercream, pizza dough and cakes. The design should free up space around the mixer and an intuitive controller is located in the middle of the front. The QuickMix Go whisk comes with an all-in-one storage lid that will keep all parts and the cord in one place. It has a power of 350 watts and five different speeds. The MultiPro Go food processor has a height of 30 cm and a weight of less than two kilograms. It can chop, slice, blend, grate and knead. Separate storage for knives and cutting discs when not in use.

Midea profit

Midea increased its revenue by 8% in the third quarter of 2024 compared to the third quarter of 2023: 103 billion yuan, equal to 13.3 billion euros. Profit rose more than proportionally (15%) to 11 billion yuan equal to 1.4 billion euros with a margin of 11%

In the first nine months of the year, sales were almost 10% higher than in the first nine months of 2023, and profit was 14.4% higher

Paolo Gatti new CFO of the Polti Group

Paolo Gatti , 47, has been appointed as  the new CFO of the Polti Group. After many years of experience as an auditor at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Paolo Gatti worked for years at the Calvi Group, which mainly operates in the production of special steel profiles. Initially responsible for management control in the subholding Eureka Spa, where he also served as a board member in some of the controlled companies, Gatti then moved to the main holding, where he took on the role of head of finance, control and special projects, as well as being the Group’s ESG manager.

EverEver the first French  factory

For several years, the EverEver company has been developing its project for a dishwasher built to last 20 years, eco-designed, easily repairable and manufactured in France. Today, this funding from Bpifrance will help EverEver launch its first production site in France in 2025 in the Vannes metropolitan area, in Morbihan. ”  This investment is crucial to meet the growing demand for sustainable household appliances,” emphasizes Martin Hacpille, founder of EverEver. It will allow us to produce in large series while remaining faithful to our commitments in terms of sustainability, repairability and minimal environmental impact  .”
A production manager has been hired and is already working on the project to create this factory. In addition to creating direct jobs, this project will also strengthen the local economy and industry. It should be remembered that the manufacture of Albert, the sustainable dishwasher, will be based on collaboration with a network of local subcontractors with whom partnerships have already been established. ”  Today, after a long period of work and testing, 100% of the parts of the device are known and ready to be launched ,” says Martin Hacpille

Midea Group’s net profit in the third quarter of 2024 was 10.895 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 14.86%

Midea Group released its third quarter report for 2024 today. In the third quarter, operating income reached 101.701 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 8.05%;Net profit was 10.895 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 14.86%。

Midea Group achieved operating income of 318.975 billion yuan in the first three quarters of 2024, a year-on-year increase of 9.57%;Net profit was 31.699 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 14.37%.

Elica limits the drop in turnover thanks to OEM sales

Elica closes the third quarter with a contraction of ‘only’ 1.1% thanks to the excellent performance of the Engine Division (+9%) which gained market share in Europe. The bet on Cooking is slow to pay off: in the January-September period, despite the award-winning models of the Nikolatesla and Lhov lines, sales fell by 4% (very weak demand in Europe, improvements in the USA).

The balance of the very difficult first nine months of 2024 sees a drop of almost 5% in turnover, down to 342 million euros and margins in line with expectations. The Fabriano group does not give up and finances an intense promotional activity and investments in its own brand lines with careful cost control. The margin on revenues in the first nine months was 7.2% against 10.4% in 2023.
