Samsung expands bespoke range

Samsung has launched a new Bespoke RF8000 French Door Refrigerator, expanding its Bespoke line-up. The product is available as a 4-door model in Metal Navy color and can be complemented with kitchen packages including dishwashers and over-the-range microwaves.

Samsung’s Bespoke RF8000 French Door Refrigerator expands on the existing Bespoke refrigerator line-up, which includes the 4-Door Flex™ and 2-Door fridge Freezer. The Bespoke French Door Refrigerator will be available as a 4-door configuration – in counter-depth model.

Among the main plusses, the Bespoke French Door Refrigerator offers a versatile Flex Zone drawer, which can be converted from freezer to fridge depending on the user’s needs. One new point of innovation is the beverage centre that, featuring a water dispenser hidden inside the door, offers a convenient solution that enables the fridge to feature a smooth exterior.

Artist Alex Proba’s Colourful Personality Splashes Across Samsung’s New Bespoke Refrigerator

Samsung just announced their colour customizable Bespoke kitchen appliance range at the start of the year at the 2022 CES. But that all pales in comparison to the expressive abstractions on display across their latest limited edition collaboration conceived with the chromatophiliac and  multidisciplinary artist, Alex Proba. The limited-edition Bespoke’s abstract jungle print motif design on display – one inspired by nature and intended to bring “the outdoors indoors” – was first interpreted using an arrangement of colour papers by Proba before being realized as a final print. The result is a wildly expressive push against what we typically associate with home kitchen aesthetics, refreshingly moving us beyond the monochromatic and metallic palettes that have dominated the American residential market for the last few decades.

Samsung Bespoke Jet™ Delivers End to End Cleaning With an All-in-One Clean Station

The sleek stick vacuum cleaner delivers a powerful, hygienic cleaning experience with its All-in-One Clean Station™ and up to 210W suction power

Samsung Electronics today announced the launch of the Bespoke Jet™, a cordless vacuum cleaner with an All-in-One Clean Station™ that delivers hygienic cleaning with a 99.999 percent Multi-Layered Filtration System.1 In addition to its All-in-One Clean Station™, a dock that charges your vacuum cleaner and automatically empties the dustbin, the Bespoke Jet™ is lighter and is equipped with a more enhanced Digital Inverter Motor than its predecessor2 for even more powerful cleaning. Packed with innovations, the Bespoke Jet™ also earned recognition as an Honoree at the CES Innovation Awards 2021.

“Cleanliness is now top of mind for consumers across the world, so we wanted to create a product that delivers more convenient and powerful features to keep users’ homes tidy to the end of cleaning,” said Hyesoon Yang, Executive Vice President and Head of Customer Experience of the Digital Appliances Business at Samsung Electronics. “The Samsung Bespoke Jet™ not only delivers the power and performance needed to keep your floors clean, its beautiful design can also fit seamlessly into any room in your home.”
Hygienic Cleaning PerformanceThe Bespoke Jet™ features the All-in-One Clean Station™, which keeps a user’s space hygienic while cleaning. When docked, the All-in-One Clean Station™ is able to empty its dustbin automatically without any fine dust particles escaping3 thanks to Samsung’s unique Air Pulse technology. It also automatically charges the Bespoke Jet™ vacuum cleaner at the same time.

A 99.999 percent4 Multi-Layered Filtration System makes sure that only clean air is released from the Bespoke Jet™ during cleaning. As air is sucked in, the main cyclone separates large dust particles, which are then picked up in a metal mesh grille filter. A micro filter then catches fine dust particles, and finally, a fine dust filter traps micro dust5 that can easily escape. All the parts and filters are washable, so they can be kept hygienically clean

Whether it is being used on hard floors or carpets, the Bespoke Jet™ provides maximum suction to get the job done efficiently. The on-board Samsung Digital Inverter Motor is 47 percent lighter than the Jet90’s motor6 and generates up to 210W7 of suction power.

With its Jet Cyclone, you can enjoy cleaner air and powerful suction. Featuring a high-efficiency, multi-cyclone structure, the Jet Cyclone creates an optimal air path to reduce air resistance and minimize the loss of suction to hygienically trap fine dust particles sucked into the vacuum cleaner.

The handheld body of the Bespoke Jet™ weighs just 1.44kg, light enough to maneuver and clean the entire house, so you can easily clean the surfaces of chairs and sofas, on top of cabinets and tables, the length of window blinds, the underside of appliances and even up the stairs.

Cleaning Made Convenient

The Bespoke Jet™ features a convenient LCD Digital Display with support for 28 languages.8 This display gives you all the information you need at a glance including your suction level settings and remaining battery time. It also provides information about any problems, such as clogging,

objects stuck in the brush, or missing filters, and provides a guide to help you fix the problem.

The Bespoke Jet™ also has a large capacity battery, despite its high specification features. It can run for up to an hour9 and even when that time’s up, you can easily swap in a spare battery10 to extend
to extend your cleaning time by up to two hours. Samsung’s unique technology also ensures that it retains 70 percent of its original performance throughout up to 500 cycles.11

To help you clean even hard floors easily, the Bespoke Jet™ also comes with an upgraded Spray Spinning Sweeper. Featuring dual spinning wet pads that rotate for up to 100 minutes,12 it delivers stable, effective cleaning for hard floors. The upgraded Spray Spinning Sweeper also features an easy-to-maintain 150ml water tank, so you can manually spray more water for a more convenient experience.

The arrival of the Bespoke Jet™ takes home appliances into the modern era. Embracing the philosophy of the Samsung Bespoke brand, the sleek and stylish Bespoke Jet™ is designed to blend into any home. Available in three stylish colors — Midnight Blue, Misty White and Woody
Green — the Bespoke Jet™ allows users to place the vacuum cleaner in living areas without disrupting the overall interior design.

The Bespoke Jet™ will be available starting January 2022 in Southeast Asia, Europe, and March in the U.S.

Samsung said on Tuesday it will merge its mobile and consumer electronics divisions and named new co-CEOs in its biggest reshuffle since 2017, to simplify its structure and focus on growing its logic chip business. The sweeping move is the latest sign of centralised change at the world’s largest memory chip and smartphone maker, after Vice Chairman Jay Y Lee was paroled in August from a bribery conviction.

The head of visual display business, Han Jong-hee, was promoted to vice chairman and co-CEO, and will lead the newly merged division spanning mobile and consumer electronics as well as continuing to lead the TV business. Samsung Bespoke

Samsung’s Bespoke Home vision offers consumers a home that is beautifully designed, full of flexible features, seamlessly connected and inspired by its user. In this third installment of ‘People Behind Bespoke’, Chanwoo Park, Head of Home IoT Business at Samsung Electronics, explains how the Bespoke Home harnesses connectivity between smart devices to enrich and streamline everyday home experiences.

In the Bespoke Home, your appliances come together to create a personalized home experience that is much more than the sum of its parts. Through the connectivity provided by Samsung Electronics’ innovative technologies, your appliances work together to create synergies that maximize convenience and bring something special to even the most basic of everyday routines.

Connected Solutions for a Changing World

Within the connected ecosystem of the Bespoke Home, artificial intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity come together to completely transform the home experience. While AI is leveraged to study usage patterns and give better recommendations, IoT allows your appliances to seamlessly interconnect within your home.

What’s more, with the SmartThings app, a platform that supports thousands of devices across hundreds of brands, the ability to control the way it works is placed directly into the palm of your hand.

In practice, this means your washing machine will remember your favorite cycle and have it ready to go on laundry day. Once you choose what you want to make for dinner, your smart oven will receive the recipe and set itself to the right temperature. Your robot vacuum is even able to recognize your pet, and will send you a video so that you can keep an eye on them even when you’re away from home.

One Step Closer to Creating a Net Zero Home

With the recent rise of energy prices and the growing necessity for greener smart home solutions, Samsung envisaged SmartThings Energy as a way to empower users to be able to control the way energy is used throughout their homes and make smarter, greener decisions at home.

Thanks to the extensive growth of its partnership network, SmartThings Energy is growing into a smart energy management solution able to encompass the energy consumption of every appliance in a home, and even integrates such newer, renewable energy sources as solar.

In the UK, SmartThings Energy is now integrated with nearly13 million Smart Meters, covering almost half of all UK homes. The service increases household energy IQ by harnessing the power of a smart home platform that analyzes user behavior and empowers users to take action and make a change – whether that change be switching to a new energy provider or garnering more awareness of their carbon footprint through monitoring.

A Whole New Food Prep Routine

Building a weekly meal plan that is varied and contains meals that are both tasty and nutritious can be a big task – and that’s before you actually start looking at what you actually have the ingredients to make.

SmartThings Cooking curates your entire food preparation experience by building weekly meal plans based on your specific tastes, dietary needs and the ingredients you have on-hand. Once your meals are planned out, SmartThings Cooking connects to various food and grocery retailers to order any ingredients you might be missing. When it comes time to cook, SmartThings ensures your range is preheated to the right temperature for the meal you’re preparing.

SmartThings Cooking also puts an end to fumbling for recipes and flipping betweenbetween apps by bringing all the necessary searching, planning, purchasing and preparation together in one single place. With SmartThings, you can get all your meal planning done from wherever you are on your smartphone – or plan your meals right on the screen of your smart fridge – secure in the knowledge that your planning will be shared and easily accessible across your devices.

Connectivity for Pet Care

In addition to making your life more comfortable, connectivity in the Bespoke Home is now capable of improving the life of your furry friends, too. With its ability to monitor pets and connect to other smart devices, Samsung’s Bespoke Jet Bot™ AI+ and SmartThings Pet allow you to see what your pets are doing in real-time and make the environment more comfortable for them from wherever you are.

While going about its cleaning duties, your Bespoke Jet Bot™ AI+ recognizes when your pet comes into view, starts recording and sends the videos straight to your phone. After receiving these real-time updates, you can then use SmartThings Pet on your phone to adjust the settings on your smart air conditioner, air purifier and lights back home to make sure your pet is as comfortable as possible while you’re away.

Give Your Clothes the Care They Deserve

The clothes we wear every day are important mainstays of our lives, but maintaining sensitive and specialty items can prove complicated, especially given that properly cleansing our garments has become particularly important in the current climate.

SmartThings Clothing Care recommends optimal cycles for the items you’re washing based on material type, your usage patterns, the current season and more. A comprehensive smart wardrobe management system, SmartThings Clothing Care also monitors detergent levels, and can even order more detergent from online retailers when you’re running low.8

With SmartThings, your Bespoke AirDresser and smart washer communicate with one another to share information and deliver personalized cycles and settings. Auto Cycle Link then matches the settings on your dryer to your wash settings to ensure your clothes are getting the consistent treatment that is just right for their garment type.Committed to a Sustainable Bespoke Home Experience

With Bespoke Home, Samsung is dedicating itself to bringing an end to the ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach. We have committed to making all of our current and future products IoT-ready in order to realize their vision for a more connected world.
