Seven Years of Customer Love: Why Amica Continues to Impress

In a market brimming with household brands, few manage to earn—and keep—customer trust year after year. So when Amica was recently awarded the PLUS X AWARD seal for the highest level of customer satisfaction for the seventh time, it made me pause. That’s not just impressive, it’s a testament to consistency.

What’s remarkable is that this isn’t some internal pat on the back. The award is based on an independent study by the German Institute for Product and Market Assessment, surveying consumers across Germany on brand performance in quality, reliability, and service. And once again, Amica rose to the top.

As someone who follows consumer trends and brand reputation closely, I find this kind of long-term customer endorsement compelling. It speaks to something beyond just good products—it hints at excellent after-sales support, thoughtful design, and a company culture that puts the user first.

And while awards always make for great press, the real win here is user satisfaction. The folks at Amica clearly have a formula that resonates, and more importantly, they’ve stayed true to it. So here’s to the teams behind the scenes who make the magic happen—and to the customers who keep the bar high.

Amica 2025 launch

Amica Focuses on Cooking for 2025, Harmonizing Ranges and Technologies
Amica is doubling down on its expertise in cooking, making it the central focus of their 2025 product releases, slated for the second quarter.  Leading the charge is the new Black Inox oven range, highlighted by a top-of-the-line multifunction oven (€749).  This model boasts 19 automatic programs, including a “soft steam” cooking option (achieved by adding water to the oven cavity, as it lacks a built-in steam generator).  Joining the oven is a matching microwave with a similar, fully touch-sensitive interface and minimalist design.  The microwave distinguishes itself with automatic door opening and no handle.
This new range showcases Amica’s commitment to a streamlined, minimalist aesthetic, evident in features like the subtly embedded logo.  Beyond aesthetics, Amica is pursuing a broader harmonization of its product lines across Europe. This includes both built-in and freestanding ovens (cookers), aligning them technically and visually.  Several features and accessories previously found only in higher-end models are now becoming standard across the new ranges.  Examples include telescopic rails and the increasingly popular air fry function, complete with a dedicated basket, complementing the standard grills and drip pans.  The cooking probe, traditionally reserved for built-in ovens, is another feature now making its way into the top-tier freestanding models.

Amica plans to launch another range of more premium ovens around April (prices could range from €850 to €999, to be confirmed). It will include a 60 x 60 cm oven combining traditional and microwave cooking functions. The brand also mentions a model equipped with a steam generator, allowing the addition of steam or total steam cooking (from 25 to 100%). Also worth noting among the new products is a 38 cm microwave with a drop-down door, with a capacity of 34 L (compared to 25 L usually for this type of format, the brand specifies).
As for hobs, Amica is also preparing to market several new models, for the second quarter of 2025. Among the brand’s areas of work, we can mention flexible zones or even assistance with use through functions directly offered on the hob with the appropriate temperatures (for boiling or searing, for example). The goal is to help consumers who are not used to induction to use their device more easily. This is certainly not new on the market, but Amica remains faithful to its philosophy of providing smart, practical little extras on a daily basis, while maintaining affordable prices.

Another exciting development in the world of kitchen appliances is the introduction of hobs in various colors. One standout option is a sleek white model (60 cm), perfect for minimalist kitchen designs. At the EspritMeuble show, an anthracite grey hob, made from exquisite Japanese glass, also caught our attention.

In the realm of cooker hoods, Amica is revolutionizing the market with its Gesture Control technology, now accessible across their entire range, including island hoods. This innovation isn’t just about high-tech features—it’s also about making them affordable. For instance, the A+ model (70 cm) is available at an attractive price of €499. Additionally, the technology has been extended to filter units, with prices starting at just €229.

Amica new strategy

Amica group announced a new “Back to Profitability” strategy. Its goal is to ensure the sustainable growth of Amica Group in key European markets and to focus on the heating equipment segment. Our assumptions? Increase sales by 7% annually by 2030, EBITDA at 5% in 2027 and 7% from 2030, increase RONA (return on net assets) to 14% in 2027 and exceed 17% from 2030. Additionally, we strive for stable dividend payments to shareholders. Amica have used the past 10 years to expand in Western Europe, invest in production capacity and new technologies, optimize our operations and strengthen our financial base. External factors, such as the pandemic turmoil, the war in Ukraine and our exit from the Russian market, which means a loss of sales of approximately 300,000 pieces of heating equipment per year, have stood in the way of full implementation of the HIT2023 strategy goals. The new “Back to Profitability” strategy, which we are announcing during the cyclical downturn in the household appliances industry, focuses on ensuring lasting profitability for the Amica Group and using the potential of the production center in Wronki, Greater Poland. We intend to make good use of the opportunities we see in the coming years – emphasizes Jacek Rutkowski, President of the Management Board of Amica SA mission is to offer durable and reliable household appliances with the highest quality of service to make everyday life easier for consumers, while respecting the local traditions and heritage of our brands (#Amica, #Fagor, #Gram, #Hansa, #CDA). In turn, our vision is to become the most recommended brand of heating equipment on key markets in Europe.

Fagor relaunch in France

Fagor brand who Amica group took over the license for large household appliances in 2019, will increase its presence in France. From September, Sideme will sell the brand’s ranges to the trade.

Sideme was to relaunch Fagor in 2020, the health crisis delayed its projects. Like many manufacturers, the company then had to face supply and transport difficulties. Not wishing to risk delivering incomplete ranges, Sideme preferred to postpone the return of its emblematic brand. While the group hoped to launch the new ranges before the summer, starting with the cold, in the end all the new products will be released in the fall.

The brand is already well established in Spain, where it had the most notoriety. It is also developing in other countries such as Romania and the Czech Republic

Amica aiming high

46 meters high with an area of 6.5 thousand square meters – this is how huge is Amica High Storage Warehouse, which we opened almost exactly four years ago in Wronki. It is the tallest facility of this type in Poland and one of the tallest in Europe. The facility is fully automated, and can be supervised by only one employee! Do you know that he must have mountaineering qualifications? 🙂
