At Eurocucina 2022, Falmec unveiled a new concept of extractor hood, the Air Wall, integrating into the credence of a kitchen. The prototype, the result of a collaboration between the Falmec Design Lab and the company MAGNETOlab was exhibited in a backlit satin glass finish.
Passion, freedom, comfort, wellbeing, conviviality and functionality: these are the key elements of the Falmec “Manifesto” at the 23rd edition of EuroCucina/FTK 2022. The company is showing its solutions in a booth divided into different thematic areas, built around the philosophy of Falmec’s keywords. Passion is also deep relationship with the territory: the company has chosen to localize the entire production in the Vittorio Veneto headquarters (Italy, in the “inox valley”) and collaborates with a local network of highly specialized suppliers who transfer their knowledge in the quality of the products. Freedom means design freedom to build-up and installation. The new Elements collection is the expression of this free approach with its systems Monolith, Shelf and Air Wall, where the suction element becomes part of the modular and multifunction architecture. With Elements, the traditional concept of the hood disappears, leaving the extraction function to totally integrate with the kitchen project. As regards to the comfort, Falmec proposes the NRS technology: thanks to in-depth studies and important partnerships with specialised laboratories in fluid dynamics, NRS reduces the noise of the hood by up to -86% of sound power. Besides, well-being means better air quality: E.ion System technology with the active ions, Circle.Tech with its filtering system, and the recent Multi-Air, with its ultra-compact body, best express the desire to create well-being spaces within the kitchen. In addition, the company proposes its integrated cooking systems: these products, that combine extraction with cooking thanks to a unique body totally placed at the top, have now been adapted for island kitchens, expression of sociality and sharing. Finally, Falmec products are realized balancing refined design, ergonomics and high level performances.
Falmec kitchen hoods, will take part to KBIS, the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show in Orlando. In the booth W115 of the Fair, the brand will present its latest innovation with a special focus on the new hoods with Silence NRS (Noise Reduction System) technology.
This system, developed by the company, has made it possible to design extremely silent hoods, providing considerable benefits in the kitchen in terms of acoustic comfort. In fact, the noise level of solutions equipped with this technology is almost imperceptible (up to -86% less sound) thanks to Falmec’s in-depth research on air flow optimisation and the use of sound-absorbing materials conducted in collaboration with the University of Padua and laboratories specialising in fluid dynamics.
The Silence NRS technology, developed by Falmec, celebrates its tenth anniversary and to celebrate this important milestone decade, the company has decided to expand the Silence NRS range by extending this patented technology to new models. The Falmec models now also available in the Silence NRS version are: Lumen Isola 175, Lumen, Plane Black and Virgola, all characterized by attractive design, maximum efficiency and silence.
Lumen NRS
With its structure in AISI 304 stainless steel, Lumen Isola 175 NRS features Led strips positioned along the length of both sides of the hood. The suction in this solution takes place along its perimeter while the power is regulated by an electronic control panel on the front of the hood. The “little sister” of the Lumen Isola 175 NRS, the Lumen NRS, fits into smaller kitchen environments and is available as either a wall-mounted or island-mounted unit, both 90 cm wide.
Plane Black NRS enhances the kitchen environment with its strong noir allure, especially when combined with light or chrome finishes. Wall-mounted and measuring 90 cm, it is equipped with a 3-speed + boost electronic control panel, an effective Led lighting system and a powerful 800 m3/h motor.
Last but not least, Virgola NRS, is a built-in model that integrates perfectly into the kitchen by “disappearing” into the wall unit. The new Virgola NRS further enriches the “Virgola” product family already available with No-Drop technology and in multiple sizes and finishes. Virgola NRS, in the 60, 90 and 120 cm versions, is equipped with an efficient motor with a flow rate of 800m3/h, electronic control panel with 4 speeds and dynamic Led lighting.
Falmec Light extractor has won the Archiproducts Design Award 2021 in the kitchen category. This award is given by a prestigious jury made up of architects, journalists, photographers and art directors from all over the world. It was evaluated among 750 applications and selected among the best technical, efficient and design proposals.
The winners of the 26th edition of the Compasso d’Oro , the most important award for Italian design, were announced. Among the awarded was the Spazio hood by Falmec designed by Francesco Lucchese-Lucchesedesign Studio, which in addition to a functional component is a real piece of furniture. This is a very important recognition for Falmec confirming the growth path of the Vittorio Veneto-based company, which rewards the approach to excellence, the care and dedication to formulating innovative solutions that improve the quality of time spent within our homes
A design designed to intelligently use and exploit space and to offer greater practicality in kitchen activities. The 180 cm supporting island structure, in fact, consists of comfortable frosted glass shelves for tidy storage of crockery or any other useful object in the kitchen, a channel equipped with hooks for organizing utensils and a LED that broadly illuminates the work surface.
But what makes Spazio a unique hood of its kind are the accessories and additional functions that derive from it.
Spazio is in fact equipped with USB ports and electrical sockets with “bottom view” that allow you to recharge electronic devices such as tablets, smartphones or MP3 players and always have them at hand, and a “tablet holder” support for quick and practical consultation. any application and why not, tasty recipes.
The hood also offers the possibility of housing a small home garden – supplied by Falmec as an accessory – designed for the cultivation of aromatic plants directly in the kitchen.
The hood incorporates the Circle.Tech system , patented by Falmec, which makes Spazio an extraordinary hood also from a performance point of view. Circle.Tech, in fact, thanks to the union in a single apparatus of the suction and filtering part, which develops horizontally, allows the outgoing air to spread evenly and be effectively filtered by a series of filters that surround the motor . The Carbon.Zeo filter technology is able to retain odors with double effectiveness compared to the classic filter solutions, combining materials of natural origin, such as activated carbon and zeolite, ideal for the absorption of organic compounds and water vapor.
With Spazio, Falmec realizes the desires and needs of each of us, confirming once again a path of excellence and the commitment aimed at improving the experience in the kitchen and in general the quality of daily living at home.
