BSH signs historic lease in Munich

KGAL GmbH & Co. KG (KGAL) and BSH Home Appliances Group have signed a major long-term green lease ahead of schedule for the “Aviva” office complex in Neuperlach. Covering 60,000 m² of gross floor space, this is Munich’s largest leasing deal in five years.

BSH plans to transform its headquarters into a modern campus featuring customer experience spaces, product showcases, and training facilities.

“This ensures sustainable use and long-term profitability,” said Dr. Christian Nieraad of KGAL. Dr. Matthias Metz of BSH added, “We’re creating an inspiring and innovative workplace that strengthens Team BSH.”

Midea Italia inaugurates its new headquarters

Midea has officially inaugurated its new headquarters in Milan at the Bodio Center in the street of the same name. A further important step for the company, which had already moved its operations to Milan at the beginning of 2021.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Midea Emea President Scott Fu , General Manager Alberto Di Luzio and the management of Midea Italia, as well as the entire staff, which has increased by more than 40% from January 2024 to today

Swift saved in pre-pack deal

Swift Electrical, a Uk Stoke-based appliance distributor, has successfully emerged from administration through a swift pre-pack deal. The company faced significant challenges but was rescued by its joint managing director, Anthony Sant. Sant acquired Swift Electrical for an undisclosed sum via APS Distribution Ltd (formerly known as The Recycling Group). The business will continue to operate under the familiar Swift name. Existing orders will be fulfilled, and retailers will receive support for manufacturer warranties from the previous Swift business. This strategic move has safeguarded 34 jobs and secured the company’s future. Sant aims to expand the product range, including brands like Creda, to better serve long-term retail customers.”
