Ever wondered where and how your Moccamaster is made? The answer lies in Amerongen, a small town in the heart of the Netherlands. Here, inside the Technivorm factory, every Moccamaster coffee brewer has been carefully assembled by hand since 1968.

Step through the doors and you quickly see that this is not a high-volume production line. Behind every machine are skilled people who work with care, precision and a clear eye for detail. From the smallest screw to the distinctive aluminium housing, each component is chosen and fitted with purpose.
Two principles guide every stage of the process. The first is performance: the machine must brew an exceptional cup of coffee, consistently. The second is longevity. Parts are carefully designed, selected and assembled so the finished brewer is built to last.
At Moccamaster, a coffee maker is never treated as a disposable appliance. That is why the machines are constructed from high-quality materials, designed to be repairable, and intended to serve their owners for many years. In an age of short product cycles, the Technivorm approach remains refreshingly deliberate.
Seventy-plus years after the first machines left this factory floor, the philosophy is unchanged: craft something worth keeping, and make it properly.
