GE Appliances, are constantly exploring new ways to reimagine life at home. That’s why they thrilled to launch two exciting features in collaboration with Google Cloud, leveraging generative AI to provide a more personalized experience for you. The SmartHQ consumer app now offers Flavorly™ AI. Flavorly AI the age-old “what’s for dinner?” dilemma by allowing you to generate custom recipes based on the ingredients you have in your kitchen.Simply choose a recipe category and cuisine, and input your available ingredients and dietary preferences. Additionally, we’ve introduced SmartHQ Assistant to our app, offering you a conversational experience powered by generative AI. This feature helps answer questions about the use and care of connected appliances, accessible through a chat bubble on the SmartHQ app home screen. These exciting additions were made possible by our dedicated team of GE Appliances engineers and our growing partnership with Google. At Google Cloud Next 2023 last month, GE unveiled these features, showcasing our commitment to seamless and personalized experiences. Later this fall, Flavorly AI will also include a review feature, allowing users to rate recipes and help make the next ones even better.
“We are seeing a variety of brands across industries invest in generative AI to help them create deeper, more meaningful connections with their customers,” said Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian. “GE Appliances is another great example of this.”
