Asurion Completes Acquisition of Domestic & General

Asurion has completed its acquisition of Domestic & General (D&G), strengthening its position in the global appliance protection and connected-home services market.

Announced on 8 October 2026, the deal brings together Asurion’s technology support capabilities with D&G’s established appliance care expertise and manufacturer relationships. Financial terms have not been disclosed.

D&G works with more than 100 brands, including Whirlpool, Hoover-Candy, Sky and John Lewis, providing protection, repair and replacement services for household appliances and connected devices.

The acquisition aims to expand services across the connected home, helping consumers manage and maintain an increasingly wide range of appliances and technology.

Domestic & General will continue operating under its existing brand within the Asurion group, with no immediate changes to customer or partner services announced.

The move marks a significant development in the appliance aftersales sector, as manufacturers and service providers look to expand repair, protection and support services.
