Beko is using artificial intelligence to improve manufacturing efficiency at its Bolu Cooking Appliances Plant in Turkey, reporting a 50% reduction in testing time for fully assembled induction cooktops.

The AI-powered application supports performance testing stations, helping to speed up the production process while maintaining testing accuracy.

Beko has also introduced AI-powered screwdriving automation across 38 assembly-line stations. The company says the system has delivered a more than 5% improvement in defects related to missing or insufficiently tightened screws.

The projects form part of Beko’s wider advanced manufacturing strategy, combining AI, automation and production data to create more flexible and efficient production systems.
