- Direct Alignment with R&D: Rossi is based in Susegana, Italy, reporting directly to Chief Product Officer Michelle Shi-Verdaasdonk as procurement fully integrates into the central Product Organisation.
- 30+ Years of Appliance Leadership: Rossi joins from Acciaierie d’Italia, where he served as Chief Procurement Officer. His background includes executive roles at Ariston Group (including CEO for Mexico and VP for the Americas), alongside nearly two decades in senior sourcing and operations across Whirlpool, Indesit, and Merloni.
- Strategic Focus: The appointment aims to leverage global scale, drive early-stage “design-to-cost” engineering, standardise component architecture, and partner with suppliers to co-develop sustainable appliance technologies.
