Nearly 4,000 premium dual‑fuel ranges have been recalled after regulators confirmed that a missing cap on the gas test port can allow gas to leak — creating a serious fire or explosion risk.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission says the recall covers AGA Elise, AGA Mercury, and La Cornue CornuFé 90 and 110 models manufactured by AGA Rangemaster between March 2025 and July 2026.

Owners are urged to shut off the gas supply immediately, check their model and serial number on the rating plate under the storage drawer, and visit the official recall pages to confirm whether their unit is affected. Free inspections and repairs are available.
