At the heart of the appliance is Midea’s patented hinge and installation system, which reduces installation steps by 35%. Despite measuring 595 mm wide, the refrigerator is designed to fit neatly into a standard 600 mm cabinet opening, creating a clean, integrated look while making installation simpler for kitchen professionals.

The result is a built-in refrigerator that balances aesthetics, practicality and ease of installation — giving homeowners a seamless kitchen finish without compromising on everyday storage.

The concept was developed through close collaboration between Midea’s R&D teams in China and Germany, alongside valuable feedback from consumers, kitchen designers and installers. The refrigerator was subsequently tested in real European kitchen environments, helping Midea turn local insights and practical requirements into a solution designed to work naturally within European homes.
