Keeping cool with Gaggenau

Gaggenau  new generation of cooling will be available for purchase in Europe in late fall 2024, in North America from mid-November and in Asia-Pacific within 2025.A new standard in freshness.

Pushing the boundaries of technical advancement, the new generation of cooling leaves nothing to chance.

At the heart of the new cooling series is a professional freshness system. The full-width chilled drawer and up to two extendable fresh climate drawers with humidity control allow even the most delicate ingredients to be preserved – with gentle cushioned closing.

To ensure ideal storage conditions on all levels, the new series offers an ethylene absorber, air filters, and freezer burn as well as oxidation protection to prolong freshness. Additionally, there is a range of dedicated cooling programs – perfected to set the right humidity and temperature for specific types of food.

Featuring an adaptive light concept, the new generation of cooling intends to provide guidance by adjusting to the ambient conditions. For example, when a drawer is opened, it dims the surrounding compartments. At the same time, the respective area on the display is highlighted, offering guidance on where to change settings. It also helps to fully utilize the capability of the appliance with animated quick guides for maintenance, among other possibilities.

The SensiCare+ technology allows to save up to 40 percent in time, water, and energy by detecting the weight of each load and adjusting the wash cycle*. The SmartSave function featured in the dryers allows to choose between drying more energy efficiently or faster to save time. Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore in detail all the new features of the latest models in an immersive and in-depth experience.

In addition, thanks to AWorld, a mobile app that fosters a culture of sustainability through gamification, it will be possible to calculate one’s Carbon Footprint, introducing a fun way to learn about sustainability. Furthermore, a collection point for small WEEE will be set up inside the Hub, thanks to the partnership with Erion WEEE, a non-profit consortium for electronic waste management and recycling of which Electrolux is an active member. In addition, “Materia Viva” (“Living matter”), a docufilm created by Erion WEEE in collaboration with Libero Produzioni to raise awareness about sustainability, the circular economy and WEEE, will be screened. Leveraging a pop approach, experts and well-known personalities guide the audience to good recycling practices, demonstrating how simple gestures can help contributing to a better future.
