Electrolux Professional Posts Sharp Profit Rebound in Q3

Electrolux Professional, the Swedish maker of commercial kitchen, beverage and laundry equipment, reported third-quarter results on October 28. Profit recovered strongly and sales grew again after a soft first half.

Q3 in numbers

  • Sales: SEK 2,947 million, up about 5% from SEK 2,816 million a year earlier
  • Net income: SEK 212 million, against just SEK 40 million in Q3 2025
  • Earnings per share: SEK 0.74, up from SEK 0.14

Nine months to September 30

  • Sales: SEK 8,775 million, down about 3% from SEK 9,084 million
  • Net income: SEK 600 million, up roughly 32% from SEK 456 million
  • Earnings per share: SEK 2.09, up from SEK 1.59

The year-to-date picture shows a company earning more on lower sales. The Q3 sales gain suggests the earlier slide may be easing, though one quarter doesn’t make a trend.

Market reaction

Investors liked it. Shares on Nasdaq Stockholm closed up about 5.9% at SEK 52.40, and local media described the results as beating expectations. The stock is still down roughly 20% since the start of the year, so the rally recovers only part of that ground. The two analysts covering the stock lean positive, with an average target of SEK 71.

Why it matters for white goods watchers

Electrolux Professional serves restaurants, hotels, hospitals and schools. It is a useful read on commercial appliance demand, a market that often moves differently from household appliances. The company also recently unveiled its Generation 7000 professional laundry platform, so it is investing in new products while it rebuilds sales.
