LG Electronics is expanding its premium laundry range with a new 25-inch WashTower, giving homeowners more choice when balancing capacity, performance and space.
The latest model joins the existing 24-inch and 27-inch WashTowers to create a full lineup of stacked washer-dryer solutions. It features an independently operated dual-drum design that lets users wash and dry separate loads at the same time — each up to 20 kg.
Space-Smart Design Without Compromising Capacity
The 25-inch version is built for homes where every centimetre counts. LG has paired a compact footprint with optimised drum structure so the appliance delivers large-capacity performance in a more install-friendly size. It uses the brand’s Flat design language, complete with a Hidden Hinge Door and Push Detergent Box, for a clean, built-in-inspired look that sits neatly in modern interiors. A wide 6.8-inch touch LCD on the signature Center Control panel puts all settings and status information in one central place.
Smart Features and Faster Cycles
Under the hood, the new WashTower packs LG’s core laundry technologies plus AI-powered tools:
- TurboWash uses powerful water jets and rapid drum movement to cut wash times.
- DUAL Inverter HeatPump technology aims for efficient drying performance.
- Turbo Dry helps shorten drying cycles.
- Prepare to Dry can complete a full wash-and-dry cycle for a 3 kg load in around 120 minutes (results vary by load and settings).
- AI Wash 2.0 (powered by AI Direct Drive) assesses load weight, fabric type and soil level to customise washing and rinsing.
- AI Dry evaluates fabric, load size and humidity to optimise drying time and evenness (best for similar fabric types under 5 kg).
- AI Time Sensing refines cycle-length estimates based on ongoing usage data.
- After each cycle an AI Laundry Report shows estimated load size, detergent use and energy consumption on the display. Connecting to the LG ThinQ app adds remote status checks and notifications.
Availability
LG is starting the global rollout later this year in Asia, the Middle East and Latin America, with further markets following from 2027.
