Haier Europe puts AI and connected living at the heart of IFA 2026 strategy

Haier Europe is using IFA 2026 to showcase how artificial intelligence, connected appliances and premium design are reshaping the home appliance sector.

Returning to Berlin from 4–8 September, Haier Europe is presenting its vision of “HAIER. Home of Intelligent Possibilities”, positioning AI and connected technology as key drivers of the next generation of intelligent living.

The company says its IFA presence is built around real consumer challenges, including saving time, simplifying everyday routines, improving wellbeing and giving consumers greater control over their homes.

At the centre of the strategy is a more integrated approach to AI, with the technology increasingly embedded across Haier Europe’s value chain – from research and development and product design through manufacturing, user experience and digital services.

Connected appliances move beyond functionality

Haier Europe will demonstrate connected solutions across a broad range of categories, including laundry, refrigeration, cooking, dishwashing, small domestic appliances, televisions and digital services.

The focus is on creating a connected home ecosystem in which appliances can adapt to individual consumer behaviours, routines and preferences rather than simply performing standalone functions.

For the appliance industry, this represents a continuing shift from smart products towards more personalised and service-led ecosystems, with AI becoming increasingly important in the way consumers interact with their homes.

Three brands, one ecosystem

IFA 2026 will also provide Haier Europe with an opportunity to bring its major European brands together within a single ecosystem.

Haier represents the group’s premium positioning, combining advanced technology, design and connected services.

Candy focuses on smart, intuitive innovation designed to make everyday household tasks simpler and more flexible.

Hoover continues to emphasise home care, combining performance, reliability and technology.

Haier Europe says the unified exhibition approach is designed to demonstrate how the three brands maintain distinct identities while addressing different consumer needs and lifestyles.

Beyond the appliance displays, the Haier stand will feature expert panels, immersive experiences and live showcooking, while the company’s Motorhome activation will take its connected-home message beyond the exhibition stand.

With AI moving rapidly from a product feature to a broader ecosystem strategy, Haier Europe’s IFA 2026 presence underlines the company’s ambition to position intelligent, connected living as a central part of its future appliance offering.
