Xiaomi is set to make its first appearance at IFA Berlin on September 4, using the show to highlight its growing ambitions across the European consumer electronics and home appliance markets.
Alongside the global launch of its first mid-folding flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 18 Fold, the company will showcase its CyberOne humanoid robot outside China for the first time.
Of particular significance for the appliance industry is Xiaomi’s announcement that a broader range of products, including large home appliances, will enter European markets on a much larger scale.
The move underlines Xiaomi’s ambition to build its smart home ecosystem across Europe. Its Mijia platform already spans more than 130 product categories and over 2,000 SKUs, covering everything from small domestic appliances and connected devices to increasingly sophisticated home solutions.
IFA 2026 could therefore mark an important step in Xiaomi’s push to become a more significant player in Europe’s increasingly connected home appliance market.
