Since its 2024 launch, Samsung’s Bespoke AI Laundry Combo has sold over 100,000 units in Korea and earned 21 major awards, cementing its place in the all-in-one washer-dryer market. Designed to streamline laundry routines, it eliminates the need for manual transfer between machines, saving space and time.
A Samsung survey of 206 Korean buyers found that top reasons for purchasing all-in-one models included hassle-free operation (23%), space-saving design (21%), and seamless wash-to-dry automation (11%). With this convenience, users are washing clothes more frequently, particularly dual-income households who prefer weeknight laundry sessions.
Equipped with AI Wash & Dry, the Combo optimizes cycles based on weight, fabric type, and soil level, ensuring efficiency. Users appreciate features like Flex Auto Dispense (91% satisfaction) and AI Energy Mode (89%), which reduce detergent waste and cut energy consumption by up to 60%. Compared to conventional setups, it reduces spatial demand by 40%, offering greater installation flexibility.
Samsung continues to push innovation with the 2025 model, increasing capacity to 18kg and shortening drying time by 20 minutes, allowing a full cycle to finish in just 79 minutes. “We aim to bring meaningful changes to users’ lives with personalized and innovative technology,” says Jong-Hun Sung, VP of Clothing Care R&D at Samsung.
