LG Launches Global “Life Asks, LG Answers” Campaign Celebrating Decades of Home Innovation

LG Electronics has kicked off a major global campaign titled “Life Asks, LG Answers”, spotlighting the company’s long history of turning everyday consumer needs into practical home appliance innovations.

The campaign launched on 14 October with a high-profile screening of its manifesto video on the giant screens of Times Square in New York. The same film will appear in other iconic public spaces worldwide, including Piccadilly Circus in London, supported by a broader mix of video content, digital assets, media activity and market-specific initiatives.

Spotlight on Real-World Innovations

The manifesto video highlights landmark LG products born from listening to daily life challenges. Two standout examples featured are:

– LG TWINWash™ – the dual-washer system that lets households run two separate loads at the same time.
– LG InstaView™ – the refrigerator technology that lets users see inside without opening the door, reducing cold-air loss and energy waste.

These products are presented as direct answers to practical questions people have asked about laundry convenience and kitchen efficiency over the years.

“My Life with LG” – Consumer Stories

Complementing the campaign is the ongoing “My Life with LG” initiative. First launched in Latin America and later extended to selected Middle East markets, it invites people to share personal stories of how LG appliances have been part of their lives over time. The project uses real customer experiences to illustrate the long-term relationship many households have with the brand.

Looking Ahead: AI and Robotics

LG frames the campaign as more than a retrospective. The same people-centred approach is guiding development of the home of the future, with a growing focus on appliances powered by artificial intelligence and domestic robotics solutions.

Baek Seung-tae, President of LG Home Appliance Solution Company, commented:
“Our decades-long commitment to innovation has earned us the lasting trust of consumers. Building on this important legacy, we will continue to find new answers to evolving needs and shape the future of the home.”

Why It Matters for the White Goods Sector

For retailers, distributors and industry watchers, the campaign reinforces LG’s positioning as a brand that connects emotional storytelling with tangible product benefits. By linking heritage innovations such as TWINWash and InstaView to future AI-driven appliances, LG is signalling continuity while pointing toward the next generation of connected and automated home solutions.

The global rollout across major cities and digital channels is likely to generate significant brand visibility in key markets over the coming months.
