Dyson Pencil Vac

Dyson has unveiled the PencilVac, a sleek, ultra-slim cordless vacuum designed to redefine household cleaning. Dubbed “the broom of the future,” this innovative device boasts a streamlined 38-millimetre diameter—mirroring the design efficiency of Dyson’s Supersonic hairdryers—for an ideal balance between usability and cutting-edge technology.

Engineered for hard floors, the PencilVac features a continuous, rounded silhouette and a large cleaning head, offering effortless manoeuvrability. At its core is Dyson’s newly developed Hyperdymium motor—the company’s smallest and fastest vacuum motor—which delivers powerful suction while maintaining a compact form. This motor drives an advanced two-stage dust filtration system, ensuring optimal airflow by efficiently separating dust from the air.

Dust is compressed within a specialized air-compressing bin, maximizing capacity and minimizing emptying frequency. The vacuum’s ergonomic handle houses a swappable battery, while the innovative Fluffycones™ cleaner head strips and ejects even long hair, eliminating tangles around the brush bar. A dual brush-bar system enables effective cleaning both forwards and backwards, delivering exceptional edge-to-edge performance.

The PencilVac’s cutting-edge features include the Dyson Hyperdymium™ 140k motor, which enhances suction alongside laser-like illumination for precise cleaning. Its 22mm linear dust separation system captures 99.99% of particles as small as 0.3 microns, ensuring superior air quality. Additionally, a new air-powered dust compression system optimizes bin capacity with a hygienic, no-touch ejection mechanism for effortless disposal.

For a smarter cleaning experience, Dyson’s first-ever connected cordless vacuum links to the MyDyson™ app, providing real-time battery updates and filter maintenance guidance.

With its groundbreaking design and advanced functionality, the Dyson PencilVac promises to elevate everyday cleaning to an entirely new level.
