Miele Unveils Next-Generation Dishwashers with Energy Efficiency Class A

Miele is setting new standards in sustainability with the global launch of its latest dishwasher range, boasting the highest energy efficiency rating. The G 5000 Active and Active Plus models will be available starting May 2025, making top-tier efficiency more accessible across all price points.

Leading the Market in Sustainability

The demand for energy-efficient appliances is growing, with more than half of Miele dishwashers sold in Germany carrying an A or B label—solidifying Miele’s reputation as a leader in sustainable innovation. The updated G 5000 series now ensures consumers can enjoy maximum energy savings without compromising performance.

AutoOpen: A Smarter Approach to Drying

One of the most significant advancements in the new lineup is the integration of Miele’s AutoOpen automatic door opening function across all models—a feature previously reserved for premium-tier appliances. AutoOpen deactivates the final heating phase, significantly reducing energy consumption. At the same time, the door opens slightly to allow natural air circulation, effectively removing residual moisture without the risk of damage to kitchen cabinets. This ensures superior drying results while maintaining the long-term durability and aesthetic appeal of surrounding surfaces.

Precision Cleaning with AutoDos Technology

For added convenience, the G 7000 series includes AutoDos, Miele’s automatic detergent dosing system with an integrated PowerDisk. This feature ensures precise dispensing of powder granules, preventing under- or over-dosing to deliver consistently high cleaning performance.

With its latest innovations, Miele continues to prioritize efficiency, sustainability, and user convenience, reinforcing its commitment to excellence in home appliances.
