BRANDT GROUP APPOINTS DANIELE DEGLI EMILI GENERAL MANAGER EUROPE-ASIA
Daniele DEGLI EMILI will officially become Group Managing Director for the Europe-Asia zone. He succeeds Simon BARBEAU, in office since 2018.
As part of his new functions, Daniele DEGLI EMILI will be responsible for pursuing and accelerating the growth of the only French manufacturer graduate of the Polytechnic University of the Marches in Ancona in Italy, Daniele DEGLI EMILI began his career in 2000 as Marketing Manager at Mol Holdings in Milan. He joined the INDESIT group in 2002, where he successively held several Marketing positions, including the position of Western Europe Marketing Director until 2014. The same year he became Italy Managing Director of the VESTEL Group. Two years later, he joined the CANDY HOOVER Group as Washing Marketing Director before joining the BRANDT Group in 2019.
A specialist in the household appliance sector, Daniele DEGLI EMILI has held the position of Strategic Marketing and International Trade Director of the BRANDT Group since 2019. The roadmap of the new Chief Executive Officer notably plans to strengthen the promotion of Made in France, French know-how and to ensure the development of activities in France and internationally.

Important news at Miele Italia : starting from January 2023 Alessandro Covi will leave the leadership of the company after 22 years to devote himself to new professional challenges, remaining on the Board until the end of the 2022 financial statements. Zofia Korecka will be appointed as new General Manager . Rejczak, former Commercial Director of Miele Poland .
Alessandro Covi led the Italian branch of the German brand for 22 years, contributing significantly to the development and positioning of Miele in the Italian market: in recent years, Miele Italia has recorded an increase in turnover from 50 to 150 million euros , doubling its market share over the past 10 years. Covi has focused heavily on innovation , opening the world’s first Miele Experience Center in Milan , and has developed a commercial approach based on a true partnership with the trade. He also took care of the digital transformationof the company, opening the first online shop which today represents an important part of the turnover. To cope with market changes, it has finally invested in training and team building courses for its resources.
Fisher & Paykel UK MD to leave
Fisher & Paykel has announced that David Woollcott, managing director for UK, Ireland & Europe, will depart at the end of October 2022. Laurence Mawhinney, executive vice president business development, will lead the UK, Ireland and European business, whilst the company is in the process of appointing a new managing director
Volker Klodwig is leaving BSH at the end of the year
Volker Klodwig (Executive Vice President) leaves BSH and becomes the new CEO of MHK.
Volker Klodwig, Executive Vice President and Head of Sales for Eastern and Central Europe at BSH Hausgeräte GmbH, is resigning from his position at the end of the year in order to take on a new professional challenge. According to BSH, the separation took place on the best of mutual terms. His successor will be the managing director of Robert Bosch Hausgeräte GmbH, Harald Friedrich. BSH intends to announce Friedrich’s successor shortly.
Novy Group announces appointment of new global CEO
Novy has announced the promotion of Francis Gistelinck from commercial director to chief executive officer for global operations. His new role officially commenced on 1st September 2022.
Based at the company’s HQ in Kuurne, Belgium, Gistelinck takes over from CEO, Carlos Wanzeele, who has stepped down from his eight-year tenure following the successful sale of the family-run business to Middleby Residential. Whilst in the role, Wanzeele doubled the company’s turnover from 45million to over 100million Euros.
Francis Gistelinck started work at the Novy Group in 2016. Together with Carlos Wanzeele, they developed a global growth expansion strategy for Novy, which included the appointment of Owain Harrison as country manager who set up the first ever Novy UK and Ireland subsidiary, launching in 2017. Since then, the Novy brand has firmly established itself as a leading name in luxury extraction and vented induction hobs, with a network of kitchen specialists throughout the UK. The company says that Gistelinck will be focusing on further growth the brand, including new innovations in product development, whilst building synergies for Novy’s distribution and operations within the Middleby Residential portfolio around the world.

In Italy Bernardi has held the role of CFO and member of the Board of Directors of BSH Elettrodomestici since 2015. “Being able to take on the role of Chief Financial Officer in BSH Spain is a source of great pride and satisfaction for me – comments Maurizio Bernardi -. Whirlpool Austria (and Germany) has had a new managing director since September 1st. Till Bickelmann, currently Head of Marketing Northern Europe and Head of Sales & Marketing DACH, has been promoted to Senior Director and is now in charge of the Austrian and German markets.
